I'll go with a 5-1 away win. Goals from Fosu x 2, Gorrin from distance, Mackie and Taylor.
Obvioulsy no room for complaincy, but as was mentioned earlier, this is a very different Oxford United and there is real hunger to win every game. I was really encouraged by the comments from Robinson regarding the cup games next week when he spoke of the importance of going into January still in both competitions (and the League cup!) when he could have been focusing on the Man City game and busy league calendar over Christmas. I have no doubt that everyone will be wanting to get out on to the pitch and hit the ground running. We were too casual in front of goal against H&Y but we showed patience and we may have to ride out a tricky 30 mins or so before putting Southend to the sword. But lets be fair, they are a truly awful side and will probably finish bottom despite the start Bolton had. My biggest concern is that if we are unplayable, Southend may end up kicking fook out of us, and players like Fosu will be the likely targets. It's important that we get through these games with the run continuing but without losing anyone for what could be a massive December.
