Away Match Day Thread +++ 17/09/19 L1: Bolton Wanderers v OUFC +++

Desperately hoping that we get a big win to boost confidence and give an opportunity to rest a couple on the hour mark and give others a chance off the bench.

I'd go with the starting line up from Saturday but with Taylor starting ahead of Mackie. I think we'll keep another clean sheet and should fill our boots up front. The score could be absolutely anything but I'm going to remain annoyingly optimistic by going for 7 (seven) - 0. Taylor hattrick, Woodburn, Dickie, Fosu and Cadden.
 
I am quite anxious about this game. We should win, but we have slipped up before in these types of matches.
 
I’ll go for a scrappy 0-0, but hoping I’m wrong again and we end up winning by 3 or more goals again!!
 
The home win 'fairytale' narrative annoyingly writes itself. 'Saved from the brink of extinction... The fans flood back to their first home game to support their team and its new lease of life... A plucky group of ragtag players signed on deadline day put in the performance of a lifetime to win under the lights...' Lets score nice and early to crush their spirit and give our GD a boost. A great game for Taylor and Agyei to get in the goals.

No need to change much from Saturday, but does seem a good game to give Taylor 60mins, then Agyei 30mins, allowing Mackie a well deserved rest.

Need to make sure we don’t get carried away with trying to win 5-0 or 6-0, and just respect the opposition and the process, play our game, and the goals will come.

Coventry dropped 2 points earlier in the season against their youth side before the signings
This is their first home game and we can expect a passionate crowd who will spur them on
I can see danger all over this and will go for a
1 1 draw
 
with the state they’re in it should be a comfortable win for us but i’ve had a bad feeling about this game for a while. Jake Wright bound to score against us
(never get predictions right so we should be ok)
 
Don't want to worry you, but as someone said the script is already written, methinks. ?‍♂️

I made a few bob on the Spurs Newcastle match after all....
 
Does anyone know if it is possible to stream these games online?
I genuinely cannot afford to buy it to stream on iFollow - £10 is ridiculous for one game.
I have a season ticket and after paying for my West Ham ticket I have no money this month (joys of being a student in oxford...)

If anyone knows where I may be able to potentially stream online for free please post a reply (PM if you would rather not post publicly)

We have an uncanny ability to end other teams' bad runs and this has balls-up written all over it. For them it will be a glorious, redemptive, backs-to-the-wall, against-all-odds performance. For us a massive 'Oh FFS!!!!!'

Heart says 0-4
 
I see Bolton are 8/1 to get a win tonight. Wonder if Charlie has anything on them to win. lol
