I really hope that, if this is the case, it's someone who Robinson feels totally comfortable with. He seems to have levelled out a lot since Derry left and it'd be a shame to disrupt the more promising direction things are taking.

I think he’s doing a cracking job thus far on his own with the team he has. But if he thinks he needs more support then so be it. In the lord we trust.

Respectfully, your analogy lives or dies based on the actual activity going on behind your son’s (closed) bedroom door.

This summer, whilst you have assumed he’s being playing XBox all day, in actual fact he’s actually been studying twelve hours per day in order to sit his entrance exams to the extremely eminent Tsinghua University, in Cantonese.

I would assume Mrs Karl could bear reasonable testimony to the fact that Karl hasn’t particularly been sitting on his a**e too much of late; and the fruits of his labour are becoming clear this week.

Compare that to the clandestine activities of your son behind closed doors in previous summers; getting familiar with his old man’s extensive back collection of Razzle magazine, part-ownership of the Kleenex company and an acute case of Dupuytren’s contracture when he should have been studying.

The result; Dwight Tiendalli and Samir Carruthers.

I agree it’s OK to worry about something we care about more than our own wives, but to infer laziness and/or disinterest on Karl’s part, probably not accurate!

I haven’t inferred anything of the sort on KR. I personally think exactly the opposite in fact.
It’s not my analogy it’s someone else’s rewritten.
Hilarious argument, it’s a bloody analogy FFS. It was only written to try to put into context the opinions of many posters on here. It’s not fact, it’s not real.
The purpose of an analogy is to try to explain something to someone who doesn’t understand in another way that might make them see things differently. That’s it that’s all. These no agenda.

So we all agree it’s okay to worry about something we all really care about. Even if it does turn out good in the end.

He might be wondering where the money's coming from. Or who the debt will be due to.

Maybe a few Bury supporters wish they'd been asking more questions as they galloped towards promotion.

Questions aren't bad.

Tbf I think Bury's problems started when they galloped towards relegation the previous season.

Would Robbos hand shake not be even harder? lol

What’s that mate?
