It was fairly clear that this new signing wouldn't be playing tomorrow so why panic about the announcement? Today was always going to be a busy day with the training ground tour and AGM, so although I expected an announcement today it could be delayed until tomorrow at our first home, or Monday alongside another signing?

We've had all the panic throughout the summer about players signing, but our business has been fantastic and there's no reason to think we won't get the next couple of players right either.

I’m fine @Scotchegg but obviously there can’t be communication between the board and management because when you’re told live on Radio that the appointment would be announced today and then it’s not you can’t help but wonder.

Or you can wait for communication from the club and make a judgement then. Robinson will be talking before the game and after the game. There will be the usual phone in. Information will either be provided directly or there will be an opportunity to ask the question. Flapping now is entirely pointless and is what I'd expect from Kip and the other muppets. You're better than that!

To be fair to Bazzer, for all his weird angst, is supposedly right in that the club have communicated something.

Not something I’d be as fussed about as him but the point he’s making is logical (rare collectors item)
 
The club's whole PR operation has been a shambles ever since the Bow Tie disembarked at the wrong train station and was late for his own unveiling.

I'm somewhat bemused anybody takes any notice of the releases that come from the club - especially when a timeframe is quoted.
 
It is quite amusing. Tiger states explicitly itll be done today, Robbo announces he hopes its done, its not done, and the happy clappers come out in force to shoot down those who reasonably wonder why not.
