It's perfectly acceptable to wait for the full details before commenting, but it does make 99% of this thread slightly irrelevant!

I don't think KR loves the Kassam. However a lot of work has been done this summer to make the pitch as good as it possibly can be. In addition to the training ground we have facilities that are of a championship standard. This matters to players and I know for a fact that Ched Evans was very impressed with our set up. That doesn't mean that he will definitely sign but it all helps to convince players that they'll be looked after whilst here.
You know for a fact? OK, it’s time for you to reveal who you really are!

Wasn’t the comment from KR that the players didn’t like playing at the kassam?
The rest is good but irrelevant to my question

I know for a fact because I spoke with someone who was around at the time. We have done as much as we can to convince Ched to sign, and I thought the deal would be tied up this week. I don't know if anything has changed since or if it's just the natural process taking a while.

It's not irrelevant. The ground was soulless and the pitch wasn't great from around October last year. There are only so many things in our control, but the training ground is one of them. Players spend 4 or 5 days a week at the training ground and 4 or 5 hours at the ground 20 odd times a season. Surely you can see the importance of getting that right and how players would rather be there than getting changed in some portacabin alongside some ropey old pitches?

You are king of spin, KR rant about not liking the stadium in that press conference and the need to move, now I’m surprised he’s praising firoka and the ground condition, as I keep trying to divert you of the training routine spin, that was the question if you don’t want to answer fine but stop dressing up the answer.

Christ sake, look at what I said. I said that we had invested in the PITCH and training ground and that players, and Ched Evans in particular, were impressed. He's yet to play for the club so I don't know how he feels about the ground but I'll be sure to get his opinion for you if and when he signs.

As for the wider feeling amongst the players, things change. In the same way many of us turn a blind eye to the awful toilets, freezing breeze blocks and missing stand, maybe the players have accepted it for what it is. We had a decent run of results at home last season and great team spirit so maybe things have changed (they are allowed to you know!)

well unless its different from the premier league then im right.
I doubt your right about anything tbh, you are just tiresome and a tiny bit annoying, you can,t have any reasonable debate or accept anyone's point of view except your own.

If Cadden, whoever he is, favours us why hasn’t he signed?

The US club aren’t able to announce him signing for them yet. Therefore, he can’t be unveiled as our loan signing, yet.

Cadden is a deal that is in place and will happen.

Re: favouring us over Sunderland. That may well have something to do with the decision behind him joining them in Jan ‘20. If my information remains correct, subject to him not being a complete flop with us, he will still move to Sunderland in January.

Seems an odd signing if true, can’t see that being the case.

we have been blown out of the water by the like of bury and fleetwood in previous seasons, the wage cap they are trying to keep to is the same as last year, austerity!
Our wage bill is limited by financial fair play rules to 60% of our income. Potential for growing that income is limited due to the stadium situation.
Of course our rich directors could fund an increased wage bill but the rules state that any such 'donations' cannot increase the clubs debt so would effectively be gifts that they'd have to write off. To compete with the top clubs that would be at least £15m over 3 years so highly unlikely.
And we may have been blown out of the water by Bury but is that really a financial model we want OUFC to aspire to?

I know he has a horrendous past, but kids like Napa really took to him in his previous spell.
Really? How do you know that? How long did he train with us for?

And it can’t be for Ranger’s goal scoring prowess

As normal not understanding what people ask only try to push through what you want to portray.
You get advised well from your “contact” in the club and spin it well, hopefully there’s good news around the corner.

Stuart Findlay was sent off tonight as Kilmarnock were embarrassingly knocked out of the Europa League by Welsh side Connah's Quay. What were those discussions about the level Kilmarnock are at?
500k yeah right
