I was doubting myself for a min as I did it at work! Most of them aren't archived but if you go in to management you can see the "Challenging Merry & Co" and "Jim is really starting to worry me"threads. On players you can get in to "Grebis & Marv miss a hat full" and "First Choice XI" threads... I guess some random ones were archived.
I'm sure it was later than 2007 that TiU closed / migrated. I guess this might have just been a snap shot of it.

Never understand why people would prefer antagonistic types and trolls. This place is much better when people argue their points and accept that others might have differing views. We’re all fans of the club at the end of the day, no reason why we shouldn’t be civil, despite being on the Internet!
 
There are quite a few "old names" in this thread on one of the previous incarnations of this forum - tbh I'd forgotten I was invited to share a box with the YV illuminati......
 
What a can of worms that guy on FB opened with the opening post. To think we’re still chewing over the intricacies of his outburst 7 pages on.. *ahem* ?

The earliest snapshot of TIU is from 2000. https://web.archive.org/web/20001206201600/http://www.thisisunited.com/forum/index.asp . People were talking about David Kemp, mindless idiots, loan signings, clear outs, and changing the manager. Nothing much changes.

Clicked on the first link above and then was clicking randomly back through the previous pages of thread titles and spotted a rather unglamourous thread titles "plane crash in New York" with just 12 replies..........the date - September 2001
