Away Match Day Thread +++ 9/3/19 Gillingham v OUFC Matchday Thread +++

Graham P**s poor today. Gillingham were s**t and we couldn't beat them, terrible day for us all round.

Disastrous result. All results went against us. We had chances in that match, and we was clinical enough. As others have said we must win at Rochdale Tuesday evening.

What a waste that was from Graham. Another good position wasted

We should pull no punches even on our more talented players.

Graham is good but his delivery needs a lot of work. Whyte rushes his shots and final deliveries. Henry is off form and needs to be benched. Nelson needs to take charge at set pieces.

I think as a team we’re too soft on ourselves and too happy to reflect on what we do well. If I was KR, I’d be totally blunt with this lot - deliver what I tell you or you’re dropped.

If he’s fit Whyte is a must start on Tuesday with Grahamnboth playing on their preferred side

Didn’t create enough today. Not enough quality on the ball and some terrible deliveries into their box. Personally think Mackie should have come on earlier. Undone again by our inability to defend crosses. To lose was harsh but we are vulnerable. We just can’t seem to get ourselves out of the turd. Sigh.

Squeaky bum time afraid to say kip was right and the other results have been to good for us today. Sorry but doom and gloom I think we will be playing L2 next season, can’t see it any other way and over half the f the team will be gone, but a lot has been down to crap officials.
The other results have not been good to us you mean?

Perhaps we (well Robinson) ought to go out to try to win the match at the outset rather than trying to get to half time without being behind? I know it worked at Blackpool and against Scunthorpe, but at least one of those was down to one moment of magic - and really we would have been losing this match earlier if it weren't for Eastwood saving a penalty.

If we end up going down, I would rather we were really going for the jugular in matches like this (as in starting with Whyte and Graham and playing at pace) rather than being so passive. The same thing has been going on all season from time to time - it really annoyed me when he tried it at the Brentford cup game when we had noting to lose.

Whatever way we look at this, by the looks of it will go down to the last few games! Unless we play up our game.

Shocking defending for their goal, first at the back post and then a free header in the middle. Grim.

oh dear doom and gloom again...not able to consolidate..team selection prob now up in the air again!
