Exactly. If Robinson HAS been given the money (we really don’t know, do we?) then his recruitment has been poor. It’s not been a disaster (Whyte, Graham, etc and I think Sykes looks promising) but he’s made some big c*ck-ups (signing Holmes and the other crocks, and thinking Obika nd Smith were good enough strikers for league one). As PC says, let’s hope there’s a succession plan, because it’s too late to start crying foul with 6 weeks of the season to go and us embedded in the relegation zone. And let’s not forget: WE ARE NOW.Only reason the jury might be out on KR is if he hasn't been backed with funds, which afaik is a matter for guesswork. He's completely failed to recruit a balanced squad over the summer, took an age to find a team that hides the biggest faults (exc striker, obvs) and I'm not impressed by his tactics.
If the management weren't entirely inept they'd have a succession plan in place, as m'learned friend says above, and they would have replaced him in time for a new manager to prepare (aided by the mighty scouting organisation) for January.
Double fails all round.
