Surely a big chunk of wage bill has been freed (or is about to be) with Hanson and Winnall going? Hopefully should leave some flexibility to negotiate with new players expecting championship wages
Not sure this is the right thread for this or if it’s been mentioned before, but Oxford Mail has an article today (page 8) about two new passenger rail stations, one of which will be at oxford science park. I’m sure the board will already be well aware, but it that a potential game changer for...

It’s still amazing me to how hard it is to pick a front 5, leaving out Henry, Bodin, Holland, Agyei Sykes etc. Lots of bench options for impact subs to seal up a 3-0 win.
COYY! Championship here we come
Completely agree, signing another CB should not take anything away from McNally, as you say it’ll take the pressure off and help him develop with a bit of competition to train with. It also gives us that squad depth and resilience we need to safeguard against injuries. It’s a long old season...

Excellent signing, really happy with the early business done (as promised!). Appreciate there is still work to do but the squad is already starting to take shape which is more than I would have expected at this stage. Excited to get back there and support the team
Donny’s recent good form has also been largely based on beating the poorer teams (with the exception of Lincoln and the 2 missed penalties). They’ll be thinking that Oxford are the acid test for their recent run of form too - both sides in very similar positions
Good signing, well done Karl and the team. Really like this forward looking way of doing business, Rob Atkinson showed us how successful it can be and hopefully Luke can step up to this level once he settles in and gets stuck in to training. Very promising indeed
