Relatively loud - started off one or two blokes shouting basically abuse at Robinson but in the second half the chants became increasingly loud and widely sung. They also developed e.g. references to KR's home life. Don't think more than a third were singing but then again not more than two...
Thought he really failed to control time wasting and grappling in the second half, O'Donkor especially being bullied. Not necessarily the sign of an incompetent ref but probably more lacing confidence which didn't help us out there
Spotted on Facebook - no idea if legit or not. 18,000 is pretty big if that's an accurate figure...
Edit - just seen there's another thread on this, I'm miles behind!
Evening gents,
I tend to share Oxford-related stuff I've written on here so here's a bit of a plug for a piece that's out now. I've written about being a young exile, and how that separates me from our older fanbase who saw us win the Milk Cup etc. That's not a particularly good description but...
I completely agree - horrendous penalty, and massively altered the course of the game - but I'm not talking about tonight, I meant the ridiculous comment that players should score every penalty.
Also encouraging that he chose us over Lincoln (top of the table) and Ipswich ('big club', apostrophes firmly applied). We may have just offered more money but it shows we have pulling power, which bodes well.
