You may well be right JS2, but the cheap DESciples shot is unnecessary.

If you're not prioritising football in the way you used to, why on earth are you spending so much time on the forum?

'An improved atmosphere isn't going to come from boring old men in the south stand upper, you are irrelevant in this conversation really, you can just go back to checking how man u are doing on your phone and let the youngsters enjoy themselves.' I appreciate your passion, HS, but I have to...

Home Match Build Up 20/02/2024 L1: OUFC v Northampton Town

You just love a negative comment, don't you? Why not try and accentuate the positive for once? Let me give you one. If we win it'll be six games unbeaten and we'll have consolidated our playoff place.

Away Match Day Thread 17/02/2024 L1: Wycombe Wanderers v OUFC

So you sat looking at the away dugout throughout the game? It must have been riveting. And to assess Chris Hackett's body language whilst he was sitting down. Wow, what a talent!

RIP Kevin. It was a pleasure knowing you. We had many enjoyable conversations about the Mighty Yellows, home and away.

Home Match Build Up 23/01/2024 L1: OUFC vs Barnsley

Considering the article describes Howard Webb as 'a disgrace to his profession' he had quite a successful career, including refereeing a World Cup Final! It's a appallingly biased piece.

Yes, Mansfield away, abandoned at half time because of the strong wind. I can't remember which season, but I seem to recall that Howard Webb was the referee.

    General Greatest Ever OUFC Player

My first OUFC game was in 1962 and I think Trevor Hebberd the finest player I've seen in the great yellow shirt. Likewise, as per you Dick, with due respects to Joey.

    Ex Player James Beadle

Your cheap shot about a player who has made more than two hundred appearances for United is both unfunny and unfair.

    Current Player #2 Sam Long

You make a very cogent argument, both above and in your subsequent post and I appreciate that. However, you've gone off at a tangent from the simple point I was attempting to make and that was re your comment that Long 'was costly on a regular basis' in the early part of this season. It can't...

    Current Player #2 Sam Long

From where do you garner the view that most supporters share your opinion as to Sam Long's ability, or lack of it? I think we all recognise his limitations and I don't think 'he will transform us overnight if he returned to the side', but equally I think it wrong to suggest that 'he was costly...

Ex-Staff A Bristol City Fan - U's Thoughts On Liam Manning

I've seen Sanderson play several times for Oxford City and think him a terrific prospect. He's 19, big and powerful, and on loan from Fulham. Whether he could make a two divisions step up at this stage of his career, I don't know, but maybe worth a look.
