I agree about the get it forward brigade. They soon moaned when it did go forward and didn’t get us anywhere. Lincoln’s plan was to always have several players around our wingers and really hassled them. Also their number 18 closed Greg down immediately throughout the game.
I can never understand why there are ‘supporters’ who throw constant foul abuse at the players. I also don’t understand why the stewards who can also hear it don’t do something about it. It’s horrible for the fans around these people and spoils the atmosphere.
Not sure some of the players are good enough to play in the championship. I remember when we went into the old division one, it was heartbreaking when we came back down after a couple of years. We were an excellent team then but didn’t have the standard to remain in the division for too long. To...
I’m also in SSL and the abuse hurled at the team and Des was horrible. Some of the people by me were not staring by any means. The language was foul and there were young children by those shouting. Do these idiots really believe they’re helping the team by such a torrent of abuse.
I know that! Don’t be so condescending. I get fed up with all the detailed criticism that is thrown around. I am a long time supporter of the team and find all the negative and sometimes stupid comments pathetic. Support the team not keep criticising it!!
For goodness sake we won!! Why are there so many experts who analyse every player and come up with absolutely rubbish about them. They are trying hard to win as are the management team.
What a game!! What a team! Thoroughly enjoyed it and the good news is that everybody put a shift in! EM was stupendous and MH ran his socks off. I could go through the whole team and commend each and every one. Roll on Saturday.
Totally agree. Let’s support Des and the team. I’m in the north stand and some of the foul language towards our players when we played Barnsley was horrible. What is the point?? Let’s support them rather than bury them.
Not a surprise really! We have 7 excellent players on the sick list. This is league one not PL, so second string will be weaker and needed time to click together, which they obviously did second half. Thanks Des and the boys, you are trying so hard, and made my Christmas. Roll on the New Year...
It was good seeing Henry running on grass during the open day. He’s one of my favourite players. He has a quick brain and it would be good to see him around the squad if he can get fit enough.
Season ticket holders were asked to take part in a ballot to attend the open day. My two grandchildren and myself entered the ballot and we were invited to attend. It was amazing, my two grandchildren had their shirts and programmes signed by most of the players, and it was a pleasure to see how...
