Did anybody watch the fight?
The Brits seemed to think that Fury had won but Americans like George Foreman thought Wilder had won.
With Joshua in the equation or should be an exciting couple of years for heavyweight boxing.

Joshua will not be fighting any of them in April.

Fury and Wilder will rematch, they winner plays AJ, if he beats Chisora or Whyte at Wembley!

George absolutely did not say that, at all. If you read what he said correctly, he called on 'Showtime' to "stop the indoctrination, we see what we see". It was an absolute robbery of the highest order; akin to Lewis/Holyfield back in the day. For the life of me, I do not know how any of the judges had Wilder winning more than 3/4 rounds - Knockdowns when losing 10-8 in the round would still have only taken the scoring to 10-9 so for me, it was a fix and the world knows this. A knockdown shouldn't win you the round when you are missing 90% of the punches thrown.

It was a superb performance by (who I believe to be) the best heavyweight in the world. He completely outclassed Wilder and showed amazing discipline throughout the fight and Wilder, for the most part, was a swing and a miss! No way on earth AJ the ducker would fight Fury because a) Fury has all of the momentum and public support around him right now and b) AJ just isn't as good and after Saturday, I think both he and Hearn know that. Granted, he's stronger and more 'athletic' but he is too ridged and 'straight line' to deal with someone as unorthodox and nimble as Fury. AJ has struggled through a few boring fights of late and nearly got banged in his last outing. Hearn will serve him up more fodder to generate money and truth be told, the people will lose interest because it's becoming increasingly obvious they are motivated by money and not legacy.

Fury to unify the division by the end of 2019. AJ, ya dosser!

I would definitely put my money on Fury were he to fight Joshua in the next year. The latter has improved his technique but he would be completely outboxed by Fury.

Joshua’s only hope would be a knock-out blow but as Round 12 proved yesterday, Fury is more than capable of getting up off the canvas even if he is caught.

It would be a better fight than you’re suggesting I feel, however. I would certainly pay to watch it as the clash in styles would be so pronounced.

Oh absolutely. The quality of fight would be great, no doubt about it. Joshua has more to offer than Wilder but based on Fury's last two SIGNIFICANT fights (Klitch and Wilder), Joshua would get shown up. Personally, I cannot wait for Hearn to grow a pair of B*****s and roll his prize pig out to Fury. Fury would fight his own mother in his bedroom so sooner or later, the call must be answered if they want keep AJ credible. The people want the fight, Tyson wants the fight. Question is, do they?

It’ll become inevitable once Fury and Wilder is settled (you’d hope!) How many times can we expect AJ to fight Whyte and a cast of journeymen?!

I know these things are completely overstated for marketing purposes, but I think that Fury could potentially mentally unsettle Joshua pre-fight. In the same way Groves did to Froch before their first encounter.

On Sky they quoted what you have but suggested that Foreman had said that Wilder won.
With regard to AJ it appears to me that Wilder wouldn't fight in London. I am not sure it was clear who was ducking the fight.

Adding to all that, I’ve question marks on AJ’s ability to go 12 rounds. He would have lost to Klitch if Klitch had been a few years younger. Fury will toy with AJ and pick him off at ease as AJ is a statue in the ring in comparison.

If AJ v Fury was to happen, who would show it?

BT has a deal to show Fury Fights on BT Sports/BT Sports Box Office and Sky have AJ.

f**k off the PPV and bang it on BBC for the world to see for nothing, as a repayment for all of the bums we've paid to see AJ go through for a small fortune. I mean, we pay our TV licenses for this sort of thing, dont we? We can all dream, ey!

Would think there’s more chance of it happening in your back garden than being shown for free on terrestrial TV!

i don't follow the hmmm sport now but it's been obvious for years since the Don King days that there's more to decisions than meet the eye....have a controversial edge so they can announce a rematch and watch the ppviewers reach for their credit cards.

it used to be good watching the up and coming boxers but the moment they get to fight for a title that's £20 please sir or whatever the rip off is now and this was on top of the subs people already paid

Brilliant Fight, Credit to Fury for getting up in the 12th round. Wilders face was a picture!! Fury almost knocked Wilder out after getting up! Wilder was a lucky lucky man to retain his belt.

I've not seen a lot of Fury, but he gave Wilder a boxing lesson. If it weren't for knockdown in the twelve round there could have been no dispute whatsoever that Tyson had won the fight.

Watch his fight against Klitchsko! Went to Germany and won every round against one of the best heavyweights of all time! Absolutely schooled him but Saturday's performance far exceeded that, in my opinion! Especially when you take into consideration, all of his personal struggles etc!

I'd say that was Fury at 70% at the weekend. God knows how AJ would cope with the Fury that licked Klit in Germany.

The real champ!

Totally agree. I thought Klitch should have finished him off; it actually looked as though he wanted to lose which is weird to say but he wasn't as ruthless as he could have been.

AJ's a mechanical body builder with no chin. No style or flair, just straight line boxing and Fury would jab his chin off for 12 rounds while Joshua gases out. I for one cannot wait for the hype train to come off of the rails and secondly, get that smug c**t Hearn off of our screens. Watch them dodge Fury like the plague. It's embarrassing.

Point proven. Laughable: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/a...eignite-Anthony-Joshua-vs-Deontay-Wilder.html

More chance of me fighting AJ in my back garden than him fighting Fury anywhere on planet earth...

I don’t get the hero worship. As far as I remember, the guy is a homophobic, sexist, anti-Semitic prick. Or is this a different guy?
