We'll never know the true value of the sale as North End always have an undisclosed fee for our signings. Thats if he signs which is looking more and more likely.

Doesn't say wants to leave,it says he's interested. Which to me says a role at Preston appeals to him but at the moment he's not trying to force anything.
Preston have made an offer for Oxford midfielder Ryan Ledson, Sky Sports News understands.
According to Sky sources, the 20-year-old is interested in a potential move to the Championship club this month.
But it is also understood Oxford are reluctant to sell the former Everton academy player, who has 18 months left on his current contract.
Don't think you can afford him unless you sell someone to be honest.

My guess is that this will play out like Boro signing Johnson. PNE are the early club to spike interest, OUFC start a private auction and he ends up at a bigger Championship club for a fee of around £2m once add-ons are included.
The only difference is that we’re right at the start of the window so it’ll be interesting to see if the club holds out for a month, or does it’s business earlier to get a replacement in. Given how many midfielders we have, it may even be that we’re not looking to replace.
If he does goes, that’s entirely fair. He’s been a good servant in the short time he’s been here and was always destined for bigger things. Would love him to stay but ultimately you can’t stand in the way of progress.

Well considering we are debt free and our owner is one of the richest men in the country then i think well be alright.

I wouldn't like to see him go, but in all honesty he has been a bit disappointing this season and has had quite a few mediocre games... And hasn't always been a starter.
I think PNE may be a bit disappointed with him if he does end up going there.

I think we've been polite and accommodating enough, but this Preston fan is now beginning to get cocky and irritating.
If he's here all month, and acts up as he's beginning to do, then he shouldn't be surprised if he cops a load of abuse. I've had enough of the little t**t already.

£1.5mil for David Healey before Hemmings bought the club. He's a smart businessmen and won't spend for the sake of it. He also has ties in other businesses and a lot of money invested in horses.

I'm not being cocky I'm simply telling it how it is. We are debt free and have a rich owner but he isn't the type to throw all his eggs into one basket.

U tell us u won’t pay over £500k, so we tell u u won’t get him, so u say well we won’t pay over £1m, which we tell you is still to low, so u tell us u can pay anything as ur rich with no debt. I would suggest if he hasn't spent over 1.5 million in 8 years then he can't make an offer that will be irresistible to our chairmen. In the last 18 months we have made atleast 8 million pounds in transfers.
Our Chairmen is a smart business man aswell and considering we sold 2 players in the summer making us around 2.5-3m we have 0 need for extra funds this season, especially when we started with around 3,000,000 pound in the budget meaning we have 5-6m as a budget and I'd say we haven't even spent 1 mil of that budget.
This is me trying to be logical as possible knowing you don't soend that much and we havd a fairly big budget at the moment.
(This is all information gathered from the OXVOX email sent out earlier in season and then the rumoured fees for JL and MJ)
