Farrs Catering break ins

Scum should be kneecapped!

Surely the security at the stadium is not fit for purpose either, another thing to add to the s**t list associated with this dump

Another service charge dispute with firoka/stadco looming?

Tvp Hands full with mobile speed cameras instead of policing perhaps?

What were the stadium security doing for several break ins to happen?

How safe are the bowlplex/breeze block car parks this evening???

Quite worrying how seemingly easy it is to break into the stadium. It would be a sitting duck if it was selected as a terrorist target.

Presumably you can climb over the fence and walk down the exits in the stand and enter the concourse under each stand, or does a gate come across each exit?

There’s a gate that separates all the concourses from the stands. I’d imagine they forced their way in his the side doors in the north stand.

Your right not gypsies, there are Pike (predatory fish) Keys (what you use to lock your door) !

I'm sure I read somewhere that the term 'pikey' originates from 'turnpike sailors' (turnpikes being toll roads in the ?19th century), reflecting the itinerant nature of the lifestyle. May be wrong though.

The pikeys would have been disappointed when they broke in anyway, I’m not sure that Farrs do hedgehog pie...

This is actually quite an important issue as if the concourses are this easy to access, then what about the other club offices etc that are at the stadium, with presumably more valuable/sensitive items at risk...
Ignoring the fence - which will need its own solution - surely every other potential entry route should have a decent level of barrier in place to make it not possible to enter with such ease??
I was going to dismiss the 'terror' element, as it's not like we get any big teams like Manchester City playing here is it??

Over the gates, down through the steps from the seats and you are in the concourse.......... and Bobs your travelling Uncle & Fanny is your clothes peg & heather selling Aunt.

The Manor terracing was more secure than the breeze block.

today's Oxford Mail ( printed version) a few pages in (I read today's OM newspaper before heading off working ) Strangely had a piece at the top of the page about the various 'issues' .... including buses refusing to pick up passengers at an Oxford park n ride... caused by encampments of 'travellers' currently in various Oxford Park n Ride car parks. Yet NO mention of those in the breeze block car park whatsoever????

Directly below the 'pikey' piece, the main story on the same page is about Farrs catering being broken into. .... Strangely no mention of the breeze block ' travelers' encampment, wondering if they've ( been) moved on? .... Do Oxford Mail/ Newsquest employ or commission Investigative Journalists these days?.... probably not as the 'coincidental' arrival of travellers at the breeze block car park and Farrs outlets , inside the breeze block (apparently Firoka / Stadco employ security - at a guess from Scum owner Power's security firm???, whoever they are, the security firm, they seem 'a bit rubbish' with 3 break-ins in 7 days at the same location, ALL on their watch appears to border on incompetence to me. Law of the land says innocent until proven guilty, however, wherever travelers/ pikeys pitch up, inevitably burglaries, thefts, criminal damage, public order incidents and large accumulation of mess n rubbish in the vicinity always rises considerably.

Yet in the Oxford Mail there's no 'link' made between the two stories that are on the same page! Strange that is, IMO

here's the link to the Farrs catering break in story https://www.oxfordmail.co.uk/news/1...am-stadium-catering-company-1000/?ref=mr&lp=4

and in the newspaper here's the story that sits above it on the same page.... https://www.oxfordmail.co.uk/news/1...ildren-running-in-front-of-buses/?ref=mr&lp=3
