Ex Player Jordan Graham

My only thing with this is that the JG we saw and loved in 2015 was a Championship standard player, easy - I distinctly remember him absolutely shagging that Swindon (then L1) LB senseless in the JPT match. If he were still at that standard, why would he only be making 4 appearances for an Ipswich Town team that are bottom of the Championship this year? He's either gone off the boil dramatically, in which case we won't be getting the same player we got back in the day, or is still recovering from an injury / consistently getting injured, neither of which are attributes I would want in a loanee (especially considering we're reaching our limit of loanees, I think? And tricky wide players we are already reasonably well covered for, meaning we should use our remaining loans on more important positions like up front or perhaps for CDM cover).

If nothing else Jordan Graham can keep Rob Hall company in the treatment room :sneaky:

Yes, he looked good in his 5 appearances for us, but since then he has had a 15 month long injury. That's big. Another huge gamble??
One goal in 28 appearances as a senior player. I just hope that KR has done his homework.
We also have to hope that it doesn't mean that a January deal for Whyte is on the agenda.

Real injury concerns attached to JG here.
He was a terrific player with pace to burn before the injury.
He returned to wolves and tore it up, that was until he got this injury.
I really hope that he is able to get fit to re-ignite his career here. The last thing we need though is another non-playing player.

I don’t see how we can lose if he proves his fitness over the next 2 months. I would have been delighted to get him in the summer and I’m just as pleased now.

I also have fond memories of him turning the scum full back inside out and for that alone he deserves another chance. Lots of love and cuddles from KR will make him feel special again.

Cracking signing if we can pull it off! He did absolute bits for us when he was here, hopefully we can get him back up to that standard again and keep him fit. As for selling Whyte you have to think that if we are serious about pushing for the championship next season then we need to be keeping our best players. With Thohir on the board and potentially buying a stake I imagine we will be able to sustain ourselves financially for a while. Onwards and upwards everyone, good times ahead!

What qualifications and knowledge of the injury do you have to form that opinion mate?
The amount of injuries he has had the fact that his time with us has been plagued by injuries the fact he recovered then broke down again and now out for the season, that’s what I’m on about.
Don’t get me wrong I love seeing Robbie play and his superb goal against the scum but be realistic the amount of injuries and the fact he was ready to come back and then breaks down and is out for the season it doesn’t look good.
P.S. I hope I’m wrong

Correct, well done. Hall is injured, isn't going to return anytime soon, and needs to be replaced.

If Graham comes on loan (which according to the opening poster, he is) then we can’t accommodate 7 loanees.

We would have to lose at least two of them.

So I think we’ll cut ties with Carruthers.

Hence my statement.

If Graham is freed by Wolves, then KR has a decision to make.

Jordan Graham would come as a legitimate first team contender in his own right and wouldn’t need to “replace” Robbie Hall, who isn’t in the team albeit due to injury.

I agree those two are more similar players, however.

If this signing comes off, hopefully he won’t turn into a KR crock, another injury prone player signing..

A lot of pressure already on the players shoulders as he is now seen by some as the messiah returning to the club on a white charger to lift us out of the gloom. We all know how it could turn out. Good luck son you will need it.

And stay fit. A fifth crock would not be a thing of which Robbo is incapable.
