As yet there has been no 'invitation' from OUFC administrators for fans affected by, inconvenienced by and injured by the series of ridiculous and dangerous decision taken by the matchday safety team.

Sports Ground Safety advisor heading the enquiry and review is Martin Girvan

anyone wanting to ensure he gets thier views and experiences of the city coach & fencing causing a seriously dangerous situation after the home cup game against Manchester City can contact Martin Girvan via this link ....http://www.safetyatsportsgrounds.org.uk/contact-our-inspectorate

can Oxvox advise if fans input is going to be officially invited by OUFC ? ...or will it all be glossed over with white wash with NO officially invited input from fans affected by the dangerous situation?

Answered your own question there! Maybe our "Head of Safety" should be getting a talking too......... don`t hold your breath.

i wasnt there on that Tuesday - what exactly happened/whats the issue?
Police were s**t and the stewards were s**t, the Man City coach parked infront of the bollards by the ticket office at an angle and the stewards put barricades around it and imagine a few hundred people walking both ways trying to squeeze past each other and the small gap that was left. A couple of people fell/tripped and one woman looks like she may have collapsed and when someone shouted at the OB to sort it they said “ nothing to do with them”

Word is that several OUFC fans required hospital treatment for injuries sustained attempting to get past the fenced off, badly parked, non stewarded reduced walkway, Manchester City team bus post-match!!!!! ....crush compounded by the riot fence in use behind North stand, leaving the only way to access knights road for anyone in the fence end of SSL via a dangerously narrow walkway....ditto anyone needing to get to the main and overflow carparks of the bowlplex from SSU, SSL east stand end, east stand and North stand.... the result, of course, was a very dangerous chaos

Cant get the link to cut n paste !!!....finally oufc are inviting fans/supporters input it has just been announced. .... 11days after an inquiry was first announced........anyone wanting to give thier view email : duty.officer@oxfordshire.gov.uk
