Remembering the good and not so good days at our spiritual home. We had some great days and nights there over the years, Rambo treading on Fashanu’s fingers, beating the Man Utd team in the 70s, the great cup games under lights. Post your Manor Memories here...

Can't remember who we were playing but a centre-half kept fouling Johnny Durnin which not having the longest fuse was going to get a response (probably the intention). What was amusing was he checked that the Lino and Ref weren't looking and did a couple of rabbit punches to the centre-half. The Ref looked non-plussed at the opposition player on the ground as JD walked away as though nothing had happened, while the London Road was chanting "Ooh Johnny Lager".

The epic 5-5 draw with Pompey. The celebration when the 5th goal went in was joyous.

Les Phillips winning goal Vs Everton in our 1st season in the top flight. Being midweek, they were generally special then but that atmosphere was electric. For me that was when I believed we would stay up for sure.

Preseason friendly against Birmingham I think. Probably 95 or 96ish. A young lady took her top off and 'invaded' the pitch to much amusement. Let the goalie have a good feel too.

I'm going to enjoy this thread, so many memories on and off the pitch.
My first, as a 12 year old, my first ever pro game 16/09/1972 v Millwall.
Won 2-1 with a debut goal from Hugh Curran, the other from Nigel Cassidy.

Although it ended in tears eventually, I got quite emotional when Malcom Shottln was unveiled as the new manager to the fans.

Is my memory playing tricks or did they play Welcome Home as he applauded the fans?

Seem to remember us winning his first game 1-0 and then going on to stay up. Went pear shaped in the following season but he’s still a club legend.

I was born in 84 by the way, so never even saw him play!

I remember that, she wasn't particularly young or toned to say the least, and was egged on by about 5 male friends.

Always remember the back wall of the left side of the London Road was an unofficial urinal

Nowadays a pitch sit down would be seen as a pitch invasion and there's would be seen as being in the wrong ,then it was the most logical thing to do,we had to show Maxwell that his idiotic idea was a complete and utter non starter, keyboard that we cared

Singing ‘do I not like that’ to ex england manager Graham Taylor as we destroyed his Wolves team 4-0.

Joey repaying the scum fans by scoring our third in his first game v them since his departure.

Strangely, I fondly remember beating Millwall 1-0 in an FA cup replay sometime in the mid 90s

Oh, and the playoff semi v Rushden

Thick fog, Stuart Massey winner. Did enjoy that Millwall game too despite it being relatively innocuous.
