2 in particular made me laugh/wince

'what you've got to realise (talking to Nathan Cooper) is that in those 3 games (all defeats) we won.....5 of 6 halves!!!'

and

'This is a team, a team of my players that are simmering, simmering! And someone is going to the light the fuse, i'm telling ya'

...Okay Mr. Robinson, and for your next pearl?

"Best coached team in the league" has to be his best though...

His saddest moment for me was the publicity stunt he pulled in the televised game against Coventry. Standing on the gantry because he was banned from the dugout, so ‘in with the lads’. As the game started to slide towards shitsville it was almost funny seeing him slink further and further back into the shadows at the back. Even his old mucker Tiger left him to it.

What stood out for me and made me laugh/wince was when he said at 1-0 he told the players to put the ball in to space behind the defenders to use Obika's PACE!! I thought to myself did he actually say that?
Unfortunately he did. That one statement convinced me he is deluded and not up to it.

At least we haven't heard him use the term 'fokkus' yet, although his management style (I use the term loosely) does seem likely to f*uck us

Have you seen the preview interview for Southend, if anyone can make sense of it please oblige.

How about.....I know I’m a good manager. (Or was it great?!?). Either way, equally delusional.

southend 5/6 Hearts 3/1 double ..................... thats the bet of the day i'd say ;)

I quite enjoyed, when talking about who could do a better job than him, “Would they still have 65 per cent possession? No.”

The best Robinson quote has to be throwing Hanson under the bus.
Hanson was pursued at length by Robinson. Over and over in the news he kept big’in up who he was going to sign, the quality of the player. After weeks he eventually gets his man on deadline day. Blabbing about how much he cost ‘I’ve never spent such a large amount on a player’.
After one big mistake and only average performances to date. He denies he’s actually his signing blaming the recruitment team.
