The toilets in the East Stand are a disgrace, wouldn't have thought that the urinals have seen a spot of bleach in years. As for the floor of toilet, a pressure washer would certainly help. And why do people still smoke in the toilets??
Will this matter ever be sorted out?

No, the landlords don't give a s**t (pun appropriate).

I sometimes wonder if supporters with the help of the local media could mount some sort of campaign to highlight the negative , worsening aspects of the Kassam Stadium. eg toilets, floodlights, incomplete stadium etc. After all the stadium bares Firoz Kassam’s name, could he actually be ‘shamed’ into improving the stadium and the upkeep of it if there was a drip, drip of negative media reports about the state of repair of the stadium which he has attached his name to.

I know if I had a building named after myself I would want to be proud of it, not embarrassed.

Given the state of the listed building that is the Priory, and how he runs his hotels, I doubt he gives the slightest ****.

I’m sure you’re right, however the stadium does bare his name which is different.

It might not make any difference at all but a concerted effort to ‘mock’ and ridicule the stadium might dent his ego.:)

FK has neglected a listed building in the priory, and the football stadium opposite which unfortunately bares his name. The whole stadium is run down beyond belief, from the toilets, concourses, seats etc. It's an absolute farce we are forced to pay what we do, for THAT stadium which is run to such a poor standard. And likewise a farce how he's been allowed to ruin such a historic pub in the priory. It may not be the best option or remotely realistic but I hope we leave and never return one day. It's even more frustrating seeing so many fantastic money making facilities built up around the stadium which could have been used to propel OUFC into the top 2 divisions.

When don’t you email the Oxford Mail’s Sports Editor about it?

Make it clear that it’s the landlord and not the club you are angry with and want to take actions. The paper could report on how dreadful they are and not up to standard for paying customers of a building costing upwards of half a million a year to rent.

It might even be that the media are unaware of this all as they will be based exclusively in the South Stand Upper’s media area and back offices where you’d suspect the toilets are of a better quality.

Am sure they would be interested in hearing an idea for a story such as this.

(They might even find a leak within the club!)

plenty of leaks in ALL the 'ground level' toilets at the Breeze Block !

could this be first job for the incoming MD ?

Back to the original post, I think the 'name and shame' tactic maybe the right course of action, get even half a dozen people to email the Ox mail, phone into or message Radox, contact Jerome Sale, and get 'Selfie' to stick his nose in the bogs!! If that fails, get yer banners out!! Could be fun just inventing slogans!

Kassam would probably argue that's the aesthetic he's going for.... Slumlord through and through.

But I agree, they are disgusting. I even take my own hand sanitiser because I gave up on the dream of hot water ages ago.

All we need is a few cameras in there on a match day and we're getting somewhere
