Fan's View - Wimbledon away

Parking ticket as well eh? Didn't run over a black cat by any chance?

I always like to say thanks Paul but, you have only added to the general depression following yesterday. That said, you have highlighted the shortcomings and confirmed my opinions so, for that, thanks.
We'll be there on Tuesday, I've booked a half days leave to allow time to drive up, it's the drive home again that will probably leave me wanting another!

Where have you got to travel from manor?

You were obviously at a different game to Robinson then Paul. According to him we murdered them, like we have everyone else we’ve come up against this season, and the only thing missing again was the goals..

I’ve been around long enough (6 promotions and 6 relegations in over 50 years) not to be panicked into thinking changes need to be made when it’s not entirely necessary. But this manager is clueless. I hope Tiger sees the need to get him out sooner rather than later (I understand the point about who takes over though!). We are a downward slope which will not improve with the man in charge being so arrogant and inflexible. Yes, I’ll go on Tuesday, yes I’ll support the team but I want Robinson to go. And if it means losing to Luton for it to happen - the so be it. Enough is enough.

Good read as usual Paul.
I disagree with you (unusually) in suggesting that Wimbledon 'deserved to win'
A couple of AFC supporters after the game approached us to say 'that was daylight robbery. You should have won that'
I am not sure that I particularly agree with them although I could see their frustration in playing the second from bottom team at home and according to them sat back the whole of the second half just trying to avoid conceding. To be fair that is what they achieved.
I would give the players credit in never giving up and they kept plugging away despite not appearing to have the quality to score enough goals.
Whatever a terrible result against possibly the worst team I have seen since being back in League 1 (with the exception of chesterfield)

As I've said elsewhere, when you have a side where if they play out of their skins then the best possible result is a 0-0 draw then you know you are in trouble.

We are in trouble and we will stay in trouble as there doesn't seem to be any way out of it.

Agree with other posters that AFC were incredibly lucky to win. They are very , very limited.
That's not to say we aren't relegation fodder - we are.

What an awful place to try and watch football. I think Mous is entitled to ask why Nelson was not picking up on the runner on Nelsons side of the pitch, still he could have done better that said as could Garbutt. Mous is getting that overplaying and turning back into his game though. No doubt about Holmes being a greedy git and also guilty of missing two clear chances, but he's KRs Maverick and won't be dropped. Would like to see Ruffles added back into midfield with Brannagan pushed further forward.
