Surprised no one has picked this up which was reported in the Times this morning. Does anyone have any info on where this has come from?

I try to avoid Murdoch publications myself. But well spotted!

Seems there could be efforts on-going re: the stadium situation. First, whispers of Tiger investigating land in Bicester. Now, linked to (one would assume) Court Palace farm - or could it be another non-league stadium in the great county?

im sure we could ground share with MK Dons until we have a new ground built if we had to leave Kassam before its ready. Maidenhead holds 4000, cant see any other big enough non league grounds unless we are going to buy one and develop it

1: It's not big enough.
2: Artificial pitches aren't allowed in the football league.

The land around Bicester would be far to pricey.
There are plans for another 10k houses around Bicester : http://growingbicester.co.uk/homes/#row-two

MK Dons..... no chance, would pretty much shatter the fan base.

Maybe its just applying leverage on Mr K that his easiest/best option is to sell the stadium "as is" at a more reasonable price rather than letting him think he has all the aces.

Where is Court Palace Farm then?

It's got to carry on being within walking distance for me .. so maybe the uni rugby ground off Iffley Road?

I can totally understand the huge frustration but it ain't going to happen.
Even if a local non league ground was developed what would the capacity be?
There will be a number of games this season with crowds of what 8k plus?
There are what more than 4000 ST holders?
Kassam it appears is winning (his game appears to be to try and make life as difficult as possible for the club)
I am surprised that Lenagan, Eales and now Tiger seemed to totally underestimate what a difficult person Kassam is. Tiger I assume is learning fast ....

How depressing - the club is in a ‘ vice like ‘ grip it would appear.

I mostly agree with you, we have no really viable alternative to the unfinished and poorly maintained ground that we rent from our lovable slum landlord ex owner, the only thing is our position at that ground becomes worse with every year, he hasn’t bothered finishing it in 17 years, it is already in poor condition and getting worse and he is an increasingly hostile landlord.

Basically we appear to have two s**t options, move to an unsuitable ground while trying to build our own better one (f**k knows if that can happen after how long it took us to make the last move) or stick paying massive rent for occasional use of a ground no one really likes to a man who will give us nothing and let the ground fall further into disrepair.

Rock and a hard place sums it up.

The only thing that us vaguely encouraging is that Tiger seems to have worked out pretty quickly (It appears to have taken DE a while) that the ground is a big issue.
The sounds coming from the club is that FK is becoming even more of a 'problem".
With the new directors on board I wonder if there are some innovative thoughts as to the ground?

I would rather play at any non league ground than this concrete dump which is falling to pieces. FK constantly making things harder for the club has got Tiger exploring the idea of moving... good luck finding somewhere though!

Looking at the new directors it appears to me the last sentence may hit the nail firmly on the head. I didn’t realise until today that Cherwell district council are now in partnership with either Oxford city or county council. Land near Bicester is being spoken about which would probably be close to the A34 between Water Eaton and the M40. Cherwell have a big project involving building Castle Quay 2 which the main backer ( a fund investment company) pulled out of so they are having to find the money for. Maybe just coincidence but there maybe something in this, we can only hope as sadly it is a very firm noose Kassam has around Oxford Uniteds neck.

Considering the Scottish fa have just just bought Hamden for £5million off Queens Park. I’d look elsewhere after that robbing c**t Kassam is holding us to ransom wanting £13+ million for something he wants to build flats on.
TOSSER!
