Never been - never felt any inclination to go and reading that 6,858 police officers will be on duty on bank holiday Monday in a bid to deter
knife crime and acid attacks.

With the amount of arrests (373) and general violence at the Carnival, were the police out photographing the revellers, etc like they do to football fans? Are they going to enforce restrictive banning orders on revellers next year?

I was talking to some people I know today.
One went this year and had her mobile stolen.
Another said before the days of portaloos they piled up all the human excrement up for collection at the end....lovely
