Wycombe away tickets

Why is it, in your view, the worst away day of the season?

Surely it can’t be worst than Wimbledon, Accrington or Fleetwood.

After every game we play there we are forced to file out of one exit whilst the rest of the ground is empty.

There's no atmosphere from the home fans.

One road same road out of the ground.

I just don't like it. I'm still grumpy after Saturday I admit

You forgot to add Ainsworth in your moan.

The football / atmosphere in ground / view of pitch / welcome from locals aside I think it is possible to make almost any away day a good day out. Wimbledon - beers in central London if travelling by train and now I'm told there are some micro pubs in Kingston. Accy Ive always liked and now they've got a really good brew pub (Grants) and then there's Blackpool just down the road from Fleetwood for those who like that sort of thing. Plus Fleetwood has some good boozers of it's own and Syd Little serving you your grub if you feel hungry. But not everyone is into the pub scene / real ale. If not though what on earth do you do before a game when you've arrived in all the locations our fixture list takes us?

Being a night match, the' ladies' at the white horse will have finished thier exotic dancing by late afternoon on that date too

Paul is it the beer or the footie you go for?

Can someone tell me with what and where I drown my sorrows after the Sunderland match then please? Paul?

Funnily enough firstly the football. Then the beer and company. I've been watching OUFC for way to long to know that if it was just the football there would be many many miserable days out. Make sense to try and make the best of it whatever I reckon. I think some people possibly make their minds up that it isn't going to be a good away day before they've even left home (or bothered not to go). Having said that there's that saying about turds and polishing.

Hand stands and Massey swinging from the crossbar. Whats not to like.

Had forgotten about that. Yes, that was some day.
And it does go pretty mental in that end if our teams scores a meaningful goal in front of us.
