Seen on Twitter that Robbo said that a new signing would be having a medical tomorrow.

Hope it all goes well!

Medical tomorrow but formalities may fall into Thursday

Assuming all is good with the medical, I would hope the formalities have been dealt with considering it was originally planned for Monday, other than signing the contract.

Callum O’Dowda on season long loan. Now that would make for interesting debate on here.

It won’t be him though.

Just what the Ox Mail says this morning

You need to understand the Robbo and Tiger timescales though.

I think at this stage fretting about 24hrs or48hrs is irrelevant

In a perfect world, as Kr said, he wanted a lot of business done pre Ireland. Didn’t happen. Never mind.

What I’m interested in is the quality, whether it comes today, tomorrow or next week.

Exactly, a quality player that has been identified to fit in within KRs style of play will settle quickly, it’s all just a matter of fitness. As KR said last night we won’t see the best of the team until September now

This is the crux of it. Im more than happy to wait and bring in quality over last years squad building horror show.

Loans such as Garbutt are preferable over permanent signings such as Tiendalli

Totally agree.
It is clear that from a timing perspective things haven't worked out.
But at this stage whether it is 24 hours or 72 the key thing is to get in the right quality players.

This. No business deal is straightforward, let alone the absolutely mental world of football.

Focus on the quality.
