Stadium Music

It needs to be turned down because of the poor sound quality not the volume IMO

Tune Four...

Or just give me the playlist.... I would blow the roof off!! :)

However I would STOP as the teams run out and leave it to the supporters.

Sham 69 and G'n'R would be good, If memory serves me well Barnet come out to Welcome to the Jungle

The thing is they play Bowie Heroes when I assume the players are in the tunnel, why not play it when they come out?

Music is for nightclubs, concerts, and listening to in the car/at home. Football stadia are for football matches not music.

Overloud and often (IMO) inappropriate pre-match 'music' has blighted home games for a few seasons..... rocking up to the turnstile 5 mins before kickoff is, I find, the best way to avoid having to endure most of it:rolleyes:

Grouchy old man syndrome. ;)

Simples: The only tune I want to hear at every home game is 'Sweet Caroline'

I do not want to hear any Oasis cr*p!

Capisce?

I agree although sadly I think football rarely has that big buzz before kickoff now aside from in important games. When there was terracing, there was a greater incentive to get in earlier to get a decent standing position and I think it generally is more conducive to singing. Having set seats means that people are more inclined to get into their place later and generally doesn’t encourage singalongs. Sad but true I believe.

agree 100%...... and those of us from a particular era , you also got there a bit earlier to defend your 'end' of the ground .... in our case, the London Road end :) ..... those were the days !

Ha. I used to get in early for the Beech Road Terrace (about 1-ish usually) but that was because I was a short-a**e child so needed to secure a place at the front of the top tier to be able to see. Not so much defending of the Beech Road required in the mid nineties as far as I remember!
