I'm just going to wait and see where we are and what players have signed and what players have left once the window is shut to decide how good or how bad it's been
Lol. I mean, it's not a bad outlook to have and I can't fault your logic.

Maybe I'll wait and see where we are at the end of the season and see how many games we've won and how many games we've lost to decide how good or bad the season has been.

Dane Scarlett previously mentioned.
I'm pretty sure AH said we were trying to get 2 midfielders...one was an u21 player who played a couple of times for a prem team last season, and one was an out of contract midfielder who last played in League 1.

I agree about the quality of McNally but playing three at the back is a common modern formation with lots of CBs being able to play there. I always thought we needed flexibility in the way we play and the idea that three at the back is now gone, with the sale of one player is odd.
Worth mentioning that Gorrin plays so deep and with such discipline that it is essentially a three at the back when he's fit. With three at the back all you're doing is switching him for a defender and bringing them a few yards back.

Hopefully someone like Tyler Morton from Liverpool

While we're looking at Liverpool players, Kaide Gordon is someone that they are looking to send out on the right loan deal. There has been interest from the Championship but Liverpool weren't convinced that he'd get regular game time. We do have a good relationship with Liverpool and are seen as a club that really looks after young loanees so we may have a chance.

Apparently Domonic Thompson is also a player we've been looking at. Played at Ipswich for the second half of last season on the left of a 5 but has also played as a straight left back or left midfield. Had a couple of games in the PL for Brentford and is they are still considering whether or not he'll be on the fringes of the first team or whether he'll go out on loan again. With only a year left on his contract, Brentford will be looking at a decent loan fee to cover for the fact that he's likely to leave for nothing next season, and that could be a stumbling block.

Lincoln hardly had a pot to P**s in last season. Covid walloped them and their budget went from 12th when they got to the playoff final to significantly lower, plus Appleton had his cancer diagnosis. They couldn’t even fill their bench on a good number of occasions.

They will do well just to stay up next season.
Maguire wants out too it seems

Interesting..

Nah he's not as good as gorrin I suppose he could be a bench warmer

Turns out he’s been arrested [emoji28] Secondly, I thought he was the player we had linked with, on loan. All in all, great post! [emoji2957] I’ve had a few, so I’ll browse this thread and refrain from commenting, until I’m sober again haha

Probably best not to talk about this one, even as a joke.
He potentially won't be there for non-football related issues, although no one has been named, so could be someone else.

As I said above, I got confused and thought he was the player that was linked to us on loan [emoji28] Clearly not..
