General Very Tinpot Wycombe

Raynes and Wright it looks like 2012/13 .
Harry Worley and Duberry also played !
Mullins did play , think on loan ?
Sam Long played a game as well !

Yeah, Mullins came on a loan mid-season, but then got recalled. We signed him on a permanent the following summer.

Most of that season was Jake Wright  and Michael Raynes

Tafazolli would probably have been a better bet! Just checking, and he even went on the US Seacoast tour that summer of 2012.

Which is odd, because Ainsworth constantly paints them as not having a pot to P**s in?
But that is the culture he uses to motivate his squad. That is the DNA of that team. Irrespective of its truth, its that we are little Wycombe that binds players and fans together and the fact that our fans and most of the other teams fans treats them with disdain adds to the cultural driver.
I actually think the only bigger club he could manage would be Millwall because that everyone hates them attitude is their culture and he could easily adapt that to his motivation style.

… or Stevenage. Make it happen!

Sam Allardyce used to adopt the same siege mentality at Bolton in the PL to great effect.

He was alright as I remember. Very limited...got the ball and passed it square a lot, but didn't make too many mistakes.
And rather than pussyfooting with the ball when coming under pressure, he would get rid ok he might have lumped it forward but it gave the team a chance to regroup

Properly odd. Reads as though it was written in a foreign language and been put through google translate a few times.
They really are not doing themselves any favours...

"We will again be the underdogs to those who “know football”. The supporters of the team that is a Netflix show will try to intimidate us with their superior number of fans."
"I am hearing from groups throughout the UK looking to get their maximum allotment."
"We will also be utilizing our secret weapon: the WorldWide Wycombe Wanderers Phenomenon."

American no speak English??

If they are underdogs with an inferior number of fans, how come there is a WorldWide WW Phenomenon?

There was a strange sign at Adams Park this season about Global Reach or some such claim. Perhaps they gather from far flung lands to watch the fireworks?

The best outcome is probably a 7-0 walloping of Wycombe, so that we don’t have Sunderland as competitors.
Gareth Ainsworth then moves to a championship club and Wycombe struggle under their new manager

I wasn't really that bothered which of the two clubs won really. Plusses and minuses each way. I'd quite like Sunderland to win now after reading that load of old manure.

Sunderland will be in the West End of Wembley and have been allocated 37,480 tickets which will go on sale at one ticket per person.

Wycombe Wanderers have an initial allocation of 19,205 tickets and are allowing six tickets per person. This could be increased to 28,000 if the sell out....
