Matches Oxford v Pompey 10k+

I didn't see many In the home ends not jumping up and down when Winnalls goal went In. People like to brag on Facebook/twitter they are going in the home ends but in actual fact don't have the bottle to. Over 8600 In the home ends in January where money is tight and In the kassam not the nice shiny stadium is great support.
there were a few Wednesday scattered about in SSL towards the fence end... though they did keep themselves 'undercover' even for both of their goals..... unlike the loud n lairy bunch of Wednesday in the last, or second to last, hospitality box nearest to the fence

Undercover ! More like not in the ground.

Few questionable folk around the north stand but agree, talk is cheap.

Hospitality boxes are completely different as they are open to away fans.

We all know the kassam isn't a nice stadium, we all know its a bit awkward to get too for alot of people and also loads of fans say they are staying away for a few reasons but still the last 2 league games we have had 7800 and 8600 in the home areas without discounting any tickets. Just proves that with a new stadium we can be proud of we could easily get over 10k home fans each game even in league one!

There has only been 26 games where we've exceeded 10,000. Of those, 12 were cup/play-off games, 6 Boxing Day or over Christmas, 2 were last game of the season for survival/promotion and 2 were against Swindon.

So before yesterday there had only been 3 run of the mill league games that attracted more than 10k. So that now becomes the target, 3 back to back 10k games in the league. Repeating 20+ years of Kassam history in a month!! Then we can go big on the families promotion for the Cambridge game in half term to get a 4th in a row!! (Maybe I should go into promotional work after all!!!)

So do we need an 18k stadium ? When we get into the championship then yes. But very few sell outs at the Kassam

In your profession it might be better to make sure you keep "them" in, once you have got them there! ;)

Read my post above scotchers. People always using excuses that they won't come to the kassam to watch us and the last 2 games we've had nearly 8k and 8.6k In the home areas. New stadium there is no reason why we couldn't be hitting over 10k home fans and I'm sure the away section will be capable of holding more so we could be hitting 12 -13k In league one. 18k is a prefect size to grow the fanbase to fill it.

I suppose though you have to assume that the owners will be pushing as hard for Championship status as they are for the stadium - hopefully the two will coincide!

Sooner than that please!
Didn't Brighton get promoted from league one and the first season back in the championship was at the new stadium looking at Brighton now that didn't turn out so bad my point being that if it took us until the last season at the kassam to get promoted it might give us a double bounce like it did Brighton

We will pick this up. In terms of expectations, hot water will not be getting plumbed in, but soap, paper and working toilets should be expected.
Was this before the match or did things run out during the match and not get replenished?

Reckon there were some needing toilet paper when the referee added seven minutes of injury time.

Even if we're In league one still as long as we are still top 10 of that league and fighting it out with the big boys In the league there is no reason why we wouldn't near on fill the ground every week. Away fans will want to come as its a new ground for them too.

I wouldn't mind still being in league one mixing it with the bigger teams like we currently are I also wouldn't mind being like Rotherham yo-yoing between league 1 and the championship as long as we are competitive and financially stable that would do.me I don't want us to get in to the premier League simply because I think that would change are identity and I also can't stand the premiership
