Firstly, huge thanks to everyone who got on board with pushing and promoting yesterday's game. 10 seconds of some nugget on the pitch aside, it couldn't have gone better. Lots of new or recently absent fans were back and, helped by a great second half display, the atmosphere was excellent.

But we can't rest on our laurels with Pompey only 2 weeks away. Let's keep spreading the word, keep pushing the game in person and on social media, and just as importantly, keep your negativity elsewhere!

Back to back 10k attendances will be a real statement to local authorities about the level of support Oxfordshire has for top class football as well as helping push the team on.

Some first class for counting from @Colin B and continued support from @OUSP Secretary will hopefully help us along the way!

Let's make this happen ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’™

I'd like to think we can improve on yesterday's attendance, as Portsmouth should get the full away allocation, and it should be the first chance to see the new signings in a home shirt, which will put more bums on seats.

Spreadsheet set up, algorithms at the ready, no rest for the wicked!!!

Hopefully everyone who attended yesterday can come for Pompey and Bolton people who didn't attend yesterday hopefully regretted it and turn up aswel there's no reason why we can't get 11k also will Pompey be allowed the full quota unlike Sheffield Wednesday

Watching from the East Stand, it was a great sight to see the North Stand near capacity. More of the same, please. I think it gives fans a sense of pride in the club when the attendance passes five figures.

This isn't a negative but why don't we ever sell them ckets in the SSL by the fence end perhaps the club could reduce tickets in that area or make if affordable for families do a family ticket or something

I was (very) pleasantly surprised by the number of families at the game yesterday. I sit in the SSU and it was awash with young kids. Great to see and wonderful that a thrilling match coincided with an influx of so many (possibly) infrequent or first time attendees.

Hereโ€™s hoping that they can all come back soon.

The corners are the last areas to sell in all stands, but the fence end of the south stand is often the last to sell. The family area in the North stand does allow for extra space with Ollys Den, but maybe other incentives could be offered for the fence section. Maybe cheap deals to kids football teams or bulk discounts for workplaces?

You're right, with 400 extra away fans, new signings, hopefully on the back of 2 wins and at the beginning of the month - we should be aiming for 11k.

But we all need to keep pushing to turn interest into ticket sales. Monday morning will see loads of people talking about yesterday's game and is the perfect opportunity to get others involved. A simple, "I'm booking tickets tomorrow, who's coming?" could put an extra 2 or 3 on the gate. Those conversations in every office, workplace, school, pub, club or over family dinners is how we can keep momentum going and give you hundreds more dots to count!

With respect, 10k and 11k is great. But the measures should be based on home sales, not including away fans.

Why can't we have the extra 400 seats in the North Stand. Best view in ground. I appreciate it would be a gamble as to whether we sell 10,400 tickets but lets go for it.
We would look a bit daft if we sold out home end AND we had given Pompey an extra 400.
If we do keep these North Stand tickets for ourselves then we could "bulk sell" the fence end corner (as suggested above), batches of 25+ for ยฃ100 to junior football clubs and primary schools.
So the option would be, in North stand, either 2,500 Oxford fans v Pompey 1,850 or 2,900 Oxford v Pompey 1,450.

I agree but people will argue it's to do with the concourse under that section of the stand.
Ie. Portsmouth fans will be in the section under the oxford fans.

Over 8500 home supporters is pretty impressive after 2 defeats in a row

Boosted by Wednesday? But yes, good numbers by ox including the 6 extra me and a pal got to attend despite all the Covid pass nonsense which was not even required ( quick flash of a QR code ) did the trick.

NS toilets again a disgrace. No loo roll or hand roll; toilet blocked. No hot water or soap. Stewards didnโ€™t care one bit despite saying the stand manager ( Howard ) was aware.

hopefully @OUSP Secretary .... and @OxVox .... are aware of that and can get something done

Its great having a BIG crowd, however the standard of facilities on offer, should be capable of providing at least the basics

We will pick this up. In terms of expectations, hot water will not be getting plumbed in, but soap, paper and working toilets should be expected.
Was this before the match or did things run out during the match and not get replenished?

We had around 8700 home fans in without having to discount tickets, 3 weeks into January when disposable income is traditionally tight, on the back of two deafets, no transfer activity to speak of, and with covid measures in place. That's exceptional, and if posting on here has just encouraged one extra fan then it's all been worth it. With Portsmouth and Bolton both likely to sell out their full allocation then there's no reason why we can't at least repeat yesterday's gate, but why not look to 11,000?

Sheffield Wednesday in at 25 in Kassam stadium attendance records. The โ€œdayโ€ not right. Not sure why.

Before, during and after.

Mentioned to two different sets of stewards around the 30 min mark yet nothing done.

Get you canโ€™t get a plumber in during the game. But what you can do is get the toilet out of order to prevent overflowing ( not a nice sight )

As for the hot water, what do we as a club pay for? If you went to any hotel, pub, restaurant youโ€™d expect hot water. Likewise soap and hand towels.

Sooner we are out of the Kas*am the better.

I didn't see many In the home ends not jumping up and down when Winnalls goal went In. People like to brag on Facebook/twitter they are going in the home ends but in actual fact don't have the bottle to. Over 8600 In the home ends in January where money is tight and In the kassam not the nice shiny stadium is great support.
