England have been given a 1 game stadium ban following the troubles before the Euro 2020 Final...

Good. England the FA can sit and pretend they’re better than Bulgaria and Hungary by being less racist than them but the behaviour at recent England games has been a massive backward step.

Coked up divs, preening Instagram boasters showing how they got in, pricks spoiling it for everyone else. Does anyone want to attend England matches when a significant number act like C***s?

Lady Carey pulls no punches in her report.

It did feel like a return to the 'bad old days'. Drugs really do seem to be a problem for Wembley events. It's not the first instance I've heard of seen of it either - there were some definite sniffers in the toilets during the 2017 EFL Trophy final from our side - and it does seem to add to the trouble. I'm not particularly conservative when it comes to drugs, but throw in alcohol, mob mentality and overexcitement and it all adds to the cocktail.

Personal observation - this sort of thing does still seem more attached to the England national team than club sides. I'm not sure what the solution is other than more banning orders for what does appear to be a massive decline in standards from those looking to attend, ticketless or not.

Said problems are not exclusive to football either...... just recently there was similar at the 02.

Not sure what the solutions are other than physical infrastructure that defends the venue and filters the crowd, but then you need to factor in escape routes if things go pear-shaped.

"Empowering authorities to act more strongly against fans using drugs, flares and smoke bombs at matches and around stadiums and entering stadiums without a ticket."

I thought there are laws against flares and smoke bombs already, such as simply having one as well as being in the vicinity of a match or at a train station with a match ticket, without even being in the ground.

Did this report even consider what the current laws are?

Let's hope the Police are identifying via CCTV/media coverage those guilty and charge them.

What a load of jerks, they’ve shamed the country they claim to love. Some football fans are just so thick. You see some of it in the North Stand, throwbacks gesturing at the away fans

The 1 match ban is in June ( Nations league competition) ... is the one game ban applied to Wembley stadium, or could the FA opt to play the behind closed doors match at another stadium in England?

Asking for a 'franchise' owner in Buckinghamshire
