After that good result against a potential relegation candidate what can our makeshift team do against an in-form promotion candidate?
I think we will surprise them. A high scoring match and the lads will earn a draw. 3-3

Be happy with a draw, ecstatic with a win given the circumstances.

There were spells last night where said makeshift team looked pretty good although I doubt Rotherham will be as "soft bellied" as Fleetwood.

With our insanely depleted side and Rotherham being their usual high quality selves, anything more than a defeat is a fantastic result. With a full strength side I think we could/would beat them, but with 13 players still out it'll be a very big ask to get a win. Whatever happens, the boys will be backed again, so let's hope they can deliver a performance on the same level of the opening 25 minutes last night.

We always lose to them with a full strength side so I can't see us winning with half a team. But I'll go along!

Since their last defeat (curiously, against Fleetwood), Rotherham have gone 15 unbeaten in all comps including 11 victories. You’ve got to go give credit to Paul Warne. He knows how to create a winning League 1 side every other season.

It would be tough going with our best XI available. A draw would be absolutely fine in the circumstances. Home advantage may well help us out.

Williams in for Hanson who’s injured & McGuane in for Bodin.

We are not far behind on the last 6 games.
If we had our full team out I would feel more confident (particularly Taylor Moore and Stevens)
I think it likely that Rotherham will win comfortably ( hopefully not a Blackpool), but with football who knows? If we are at our best and get the breaks, vwe are capable of winning.

This is going to be a very tough game that I just cannot see us being able to win with the team we're likely going to field.

1-3 Rotherham - but I hope I'm wrong!

Either way I don`t think it`ll be 0-0.

Two form teams, if I was doing the pools it would be a banker of a score draw.

Think the club are missing a trick with this one - top of league side / pay day weekend surely a good a chance as any to try aim for 9 / 10 thousand crowd. Surely a simple thing like kids for a quid would boost the numbers massively. Needs more than a generic tweet or post to get new or casual fans into the ground.

Realistically with our depleted side, we have to be ready to absorb three points lost. I'm sure whoever plays will give it their all and, you never know, Rotherham may just have an off day. I appreciate it is a tad cynical but I'm hoping the predicted Arctic weather due to start arriving Friday evening will freeze the ground overnight and make it unplayable. I say this because were we to beat Rotherham, we would be just three points behind them but with a game in hand and a superior goal difference. So actually although they are steaming ahead at the moment, our recent form has been pretty tasty too (leave aside the Gas) and I would like to see the two potentially best teams in the division in a fair competition.
