"This is embarrassiiiing,
This is embarrassiiiing,
This is embarrassing,
This is embarrassing..."

I refer everyone to my post earlier suggesting that OUSP shouldn’t look to this forum to engage with the supporter base and collate topics for discussion with the club.

QED.
Fair point. I’ve deleted my offending posts and will get my account deleted. It can be a good source of info this forum but it also has a little bit of a toxic vein running through it with a small number of posters that are allowed to spout whatever they please without consequences.

You weren’t the offender here, don’t feel you have to leave.

Blimey gents, just read through this from last night (I'm not 'on duty' all hours of the day...) hopefully you've all simmered down a touch today. The personal attacks, can we try to step away from that please.

There's no need for you to do that. This place needs people who are prepared to call out certain posters.

Let's face it we're talking about one person in this instance, and I'd hate the thought of him sitting at home thinking he's won, as that's how he'd view it if you deleted your account. I understand how you feel though as it's very wearing, when you post on here in good faith and then have to face the incessant questioning and ridiculous comments from a certain poster, who refuses to accept your point, for no good reason other than he thinks he's always right.

Last week he posted that people like me should "shut the f**k up" or answer any question he felt like asking, and leave the forum if we didn't like it, and yet here he is a week later virtually forcing yet another poster to consider leaving. 23,000 posts and he still hasn't said anything sensible.

That's reminiscent of the Speaker in the HoC yesterday and well said.

By all means question and discuss but there is no need for personal stuff.

We should all remember we have one thing in common and people will express that passion in different ways.

Probably the first line would have sufficed, but there we are.

It should be noted that the person in question has been supporting certain processes "behind the scenes" without seeking recognition so maybe everyone should tone down the rhetoric.

Who would of thought that setting up a fairly innocuous supporters group would of caused all these arguments, can’t wait till the new ground design gets released and people are tearing each other to shreds about the colour of the seats, towels or hand dryer in the toilets, fosters or Carling behind the bar etc.

That's got nothing on the availability and selection of biscuits. That's when it really kicks off!

Fosters or Carling?! No way! You have got to be joking!

Good set of notes. Any reason why there was no mention in the notes of the change in chair and vice chair on the panel and the reasons behind the change?

It’s been seven hours and sixteen days,
Since you took your posts away…

Wigan refunds, Fanzone, vaccination passports, fans forum, stadium parking and lighting... Some of the issues discussed at our last meeting.
Minutes are available via the story below. Due to a technical glitch they are not yet on the Supporters' Panel section of the club website but soon will be, so use the link in the story.
