Current Player Tyler Goodrham out on loan

More good reviews from his appearance last night

Good to see. Former Yellow Will Hoskins was playing against him for King’s Langley too.

As good as our relationship is becoming with H&Y, I would have possibly expected a loan move for Goodrham to be at a division higher - NLS or NLN. I’m hopeful that he can use this spell as a springboard for the next level up.

He can only do what we can presently and if he continues to progress, he’ll go up a level. As mentioned in this thread Baptiste is a good example of how a good loan can be a sliding doors moment.

From the Highlights, it looks like the Tyler Goodrham Show!! - Glides past defenders with ease. Could of had a hattrick if it weren't for some last ditch challenges.

Blimey I know the level he's playing at isn't great but he looked several classes above. Made the defenders look foolish several times! What a little player we've got on our hands.

It's not just about pitching a player at the right level, but also getting the right club. We have good links with H&Y and will know that Tyler will be being looked after. But his performances will not be going unnoticed and he'll likely step up a level after Christmas ready to hopefully be knocking on our first teams door next season.

Do the club believe that there are teams that loan in players and then treat them badly?

It's not about clubs treating players badly, but some do it better than others. Oxford United have a good reputation themselves for going the extra mile and the same thing applies with clubs that we'll look to send players out to.

They also have a good pitch which might help the process.

Swindon last season but that was probably down to the manager Sheridan. After all, loan keeper asked his parent club Bournemouth to recall him and they did. Another Swindon loanee asked to recalled by his club but they refused.

Maybe Ben Watt is the vigilante to get our own back on Nuneaton,
I'm not one to bear grudges:LOL:

...and for our younger viewers who aren't really that young: substitute Tyler Goodrham and Tonbridge Angels for Ben Watt and Nuneaton.

I don't think it's quite that easy getting players out on loan as it seems. kr couldn't get a team for nico jones, in the spring. Someone tried to explain it. It's to do with the level the player is going to be playing at, matching a players current level of ability with a team of the same level and how likely he is to get match time.

And I assume that during his time at H&Y, he is really putting himself in the shop window so that hopefully somebody from higher up in the pyramid will take him after Christmas.

With Nico Jones it was a case he couldn’t drive
