At the back of block 19 (East stand) there was a safe standing barrier, just the last row for one block. It was put up as a trial about 3 years. If successful they were looking at extending it.
It was put up in the era of that over zealous H&S officer, forgotten his name.
It has suddenly disappeared - does anyone know why?
As far as I know the fans who stood behind it thought it was good - so why get rid of it?

Ox-rails it was called- or something similar, wasnt it?

Usual "fanfare" when launched, then discretely disappears....

That`s where you are completely wrong.
After far too many decades "just going" becomes routine and life moves on, so you become more selective.
That doesn`t stop you from supporting your club nor asking questions of them.
TBH if I lived in Leicester I might give City a try, I love the way they play. For me I like the routine aspect and still find it exciting. I don’t think I could be selective, it’s the ongoing soap opera that I enjoy.

A day out at Tigers is much more enjoyable!

As for City, still holding out hope of an FA or League Cup draw!

You can change anything in life except your football club. ;)

Maybe Mr Mixter weighed them in?
Deemed too costly?
StadCo objected?

Most of us don`t know... care to share?
I know nothing but...

"Bob can you take the bar down"
"Sure thing Jim"

Is a conversation. ;)

As an old work mate of mine once said, "If you don't go, you're a fan. A supporter goes."

So does the status change week to week?
Does it include the tinpot Trophy?
What about when there is a restricted attendance and you want to go but don`t get lucky?

So many questions..................... :)

Been informed that It was only ever a trial and was supposed to come out 2 years ago.

The club have no plans or money to put in any more of it in so it came out

A shame but that’s how it is apparently
