Ah, so it is, thanks.

For the avoidance of doubt, I'm not 81!!!
? you sure ?

Got his shirt from that season which is the same as in the history book , but different to this photo. Would they have had different shirts for cup? Or an away shirt then ? 24695E65-B1F2-4CC2-BA6C-16B4A8914972.jpeg

Bit young to be your great grandad surely?

Fun fact: The 10th President of the United States, John Tyler, was born in 1790 and took office in 1841. And, as of 2017, he has two living grandchildren.

As of today/tonight all adults will have been born in the 20th century and all children in the 21st century. Although there is some debate that it’s next New Year’s Eve

Middle row second from the left - Bill Jones. Back in the 80s my wife and I had season tickets in the Beech Road stand. We were sat next to a really polite elderly gentleman who we got to know quite well. It was Bill Jones. He invited us round to his house, in Headington, for afternoon tea one summer. Tea, cucumber sandwiches, cake. The sort of thing his generation did. At the start of one season he was no longer there. In fact it might have been the same summer we were invited round that he passed away. When I think about the history of our football club I think about this gentleman.
