Chairman Takeover now Old Car Chat

Mods, can we have an official B.L. cars owners thread. We always go off topic when news on the original thread dries up.
Yup. I want to talk about the baby-poo-brown, and bright orange maxis that we had. We lived in Cyprus for a couple of years and the plastic seats were perfect for summer days.

Indonesian consortium have pulled out and now buying the Morris factory by the sounds of this thread.

"Get ready for a big week" They said
" It's going to be a busy week, get ready to tick them all off" They said
"A number of communications coordinated throughout the week" They said

I was expected to be excited and discussing our extremely bright future with our new owners with concrete plans for a stadium..... Instead we're discussing the pros n cons of a *@#£#& Montego over the earlier Marina.

Can't say I don't feel a bit DISAPPOINTED!!!
🥱
Fear not. Goalposts are made to be moved.

Anyone find it strange that the message on the season tickets renewal letter was signed by KR and not from Tiger?

In fact there's been nothing from Tiger with regards to season tickets has there? Am I looking too much into this again? :D

Anyway....... I learned to drive in a Morris Traveller and also learned how to do carpentry and a bit of mechanics at the same time. Replaced all the timber framework at the back, luckily we had the right wood and the patterns that had been borrowed from the works. :censored:

Yes kids some cars had wooden components.

Takeover completed, consortium hiding until backlash over season tickets has calmed down?

I'm doing my best here to get this back on track!

There did seem to be a bit of confusion between the ITK's whether the takeover has gone through and we're just waiting for the announcement, or if we are still waiting for it to all be agreed.

We've got Burton away in the League Cup. Oh

It's Official I am definitely ITD.

Yes I'm in the Dark. No false promises from me, no knowledge of almost transfers and no knowledge of the ITD 'fact' that we are in partnership with Oxford University to build the new stadium on the site OU site on the Iffley Road. To be known as the Bannister Arena when frequented by the 'Gown' guys and the 'Thorhir, We are sort of United' Stadium on the 'Town' days. I never disappoint myself (only the wife) by being ITD, it's a lovely tranquil place to be without all the ITK's knowledge. I am neither positive or negative about anything. Please join me on the, On the Hedge Bus. It's a rather nondescript and rather dull shade of Yellow but knows how to get to the stadium wherever that may be.
