Blackburn away

Dunno if they still have them, but at one stage wasn't there 4000 holes up there in Blackburn, Lancashire*? ...probably need filling if they still exist, the reason behind those tempting prices perhaps?:sneaky:

* is it all Greater Manchester these days?

Apparently, it's an easy life these days for transvestites in Greater Manchester, all that's needed is a Wigan Address:LOL:

Ah the late great John Lennon...
“I read the news today oh, boy
Four thousand holes in blackburn, lancashire
And though the holes were rather small
They had to count them all
Now they know how many holes it takes to fill the albert hall”

Great prices for our game at Blackburn. £10 adults, £5 concessions and £2 for juniors.

Sounds good, but, the trouble with this, I assume it is same price for home fans in the hope they can fill the ground with 20,000 fans roaring them on to promotion. Not really what we want!

As long as we are safe and they get promoted it’ll be party central. Bring it on I say!

No, Lancashire definitely still exists. It’s shrunk though. I was born in Lancashire, but where I was born (between Wiggin and Bolton) is now classified as GM. As far as I’m concerned, I’m from Lankyshire though. In the same way that upstairs at the “O2” is still the Zodiac.

it sure is (still the Zodiac) :):):)

Good idea. Think we should consider doing the same for the Rochdale game if we’re not already safe.

The club are already selling them full price. Never say never, but I doubt it’ll happen personally.

I will be at Wembley during the Blackburn game, hopefully enjoying a relaxing day and not having to worry about the score at Ewood Park. Fingers and toes crossed.

Pray tell!
originally, what became the Zodiac,( rechristened The Zodiac after being acquirred by a collective of sucessful Oxford based musicians etc), it was known, for many years, as simply The Co-op Hall , Cowley road

Pray tell!

'Twas before the Zodiac. Lasting until maybe 1990. I only remember gigs there in the latter years, before that it was more of a community asset. The whole building and downstairs was originally a Co-Op. (I think!)
