League One Swindon on the brink

I agree I don't want them to disagree forever, but people talking about them playing Oxford City? Really? Far too good for them!

What about the John Radcliffe Hospital Arthritis Ward 5-a-side team? 'Bout their level, I'd say...

I think I’d be quite happy with a couple more seasons on league one whilst watching the circus that is Swindon town going down into non league we could open a bottle or however many you choose of champagne and even burn a Swindon shirt just like they did 😝😝😝

Isn't this just the sort of offence that Luton got a 30 point deduction for a few season's back?

IIRC Luton`s -30 was a combination of a similar charge plus a second admin/insolvency.

Our friends from the skip have a remarkably poor track record on such things so a hefty points deduction could well be heading their way, it also influenced on the pitch matters as it seems the Β£6m loaned to them/Power bought their way out of Div 2 ..... they`ll be looking down the barrel of admin by about Christmas as well....

10 points from the FA and 20 points from the FL for breaking different rules from both organisations I think.

Hope they survive, I have a bit of a soft spot for Swindon 😜😜

Peat bog I hope πŸ‘

It's not going well for our friends down the road, not only is their club on the brink of collapse, the only decent thing in Swindon (the oasis) has decided not to reopen and has been left derelict with kids breaking in daily and using the pool as a bmx track. They no longer have the famous Brunel rooms with the rotating bar and now don't even have the best swimming pool in the south west. How times have changed since they become forever in our shadow.

FA - 15 transfer irregularities (directors paying agents from the club's holding company not the club's funds/accounts) - 10 points.
FL - Exiting administration without a CVA - 20 points (Bournemouth were deducted 17 points for the same offence in the same season).

Even their "magic" roundabout is put in the shade by the superior Hemel Hempstead variant. A town with no redeeming features.

Yes I came across that one a few years back on a diversion on the way home from Stanstead. Their one has a river running through the middle of it too .πŸ˜„
