BP - I brought that when I first joined Freetrade, without doing any research.

Vodafone - always appealed to me, but only recently invested, not a huge amount, but maybe one I add too over time.

AFC - only just started investing, could be a high profit if all goes well.

GGP and EUA - I got into them, as you can see, when they were way lower!

BP I’ve got some but it’ll be a year to recover I think.
Vodafone I’ve had but a good dividend payer

I added BP and Vodafone about 6-8 weeks ago just before the vaccine news came out.

I was getting BP at £1.95 and Vodafone at £1.05... I just felt these were massively undervalued and even now I think a decent uplift over the next 6-12 months. Also added Melrose, Pru, Lloyds and Legal & General at the same time.. all solid investments in my view.

AFC seems exciting for the future.. only 4 weeks invested in this but already showing 40%. Power House Energy is another I have taken a punt on... No movement on this as yet but these are all longer term in my mind anyway.

Great investment by you in GGP and EUA.. I am much later to this party than you (your returns are excellent) but I am still showing around 40% gain...... what are your thoughts on these going forward.

I have only got into AIM more recently and it is all an absolute punt as far as I am concerned ... A couple moving at the moment ...

Helium One Global
Panthera Resources

Others that hopefully will move in 2021/2022 ...

Alba Minerals
Phoenix Copper
Panther Metals
Bezant Resources
Union Jack Oil
Iconic Labs
IQ-AI

These are all punts so I generally aim to get my stake back once shares have doubled in value and leave the rest to run...

I only gamble a small amount in these sort of stocks, everything else in generally in longer term funds and investment trusts that I don’t have to think about too much.

I see HL offer a Legal & General Global Healthcare & Pharmaceutical Class C fund. Going to do a small investment in this, it is a big time for Pharma!

Thought i would do an update from my Freetrade portfolio, Trading212 to come later:

L&G and CTY have let me down, both moved from my eToro portfolio.

I increased my Vodafone share, an Ex-Div was coming up and the price was pretty good.

A few new stocks, Premier Foods and Trinity, these will be the long haul. Greatland Gold and Eurasia going well for now :)

Trading 212:

DX Group is doing very well for me, i sold Aston Martin for around £10 profit.

After doing some research, i added American Battery Metals and Corp Universe, I think I linked to a video about them, but they are going well.

And my HL:

Open question - some of the holdings seem quite low - Oxford Biomed 5 shares, Biffa 20 shares? How do you make any profit given the buying and selling fees? I run an investment club and we get a charge of £11.99 per transaction via HL as they are the only broker we could find that allow groups. For personal transactions I use DeGiro which has a £2.99 trading fee.

I use Freetrade and Trading212, so there is no fee for the trade. Only stamp where applicable.

Interesting - how do these trading platforms make any money - is it through advertising revenues from targeted messages on their sites?

Freetrade offer a "Plus" service where you get extra features (set limit orders and access certain stocks). They also offer 3% interest on cash that sits in your account and an ISA is included in the £10 per month charge. They also did a CrowdCube campaign and raised over £7 million!

Trading 212 charge a fee for limit orders. I do not use them too often, so not sure what else they offer.

Try them: we both get a free share -
