National News Covidiots.....

Oh dear ....

Lets give the urban terrorists or "sabs" some love shall we?

"The film then shows an angry confrontation between the saboteurs and a man who is trying to get them to leave the land and rejoin a footpath."

Aggravated trespass is a criminal offence once you have been asked to leave private property.

Those same sabs who are frequently "fundraising" for their "work" which seems to just involve trying to disrupt other peoples perfectly legal hobby .... it`s class war, no more no less.

Local - he`s still in London. :ROFLMAO: ;)

The problem with "woolly guidance" is folk don`t know the boundaries.
Should have said 5k/3miles from home.
Then any elite running type can plan circuits, same as cyclists.

Simple really.

7 miles from home on a bike is no distance and certainly not in breach of any guidelines. Christ, I walk over the fields around our village and can easily be 3 miles from home.

Not sure I really see this as a story but I do accept that it does still give people ammo to criticise, which isn’t good.

I do also agree that a strict limit on distance from home would prevent any uncertainty whatsoever over boundaries and interpretation of the rules, especially given how “perilous“ our situation is.

Isn’t Fox hunting illegal?

I'm certainly no Johnson fan, but that was my first thought as well. Unless he drove 7mls to get there and had just set out of course, but why would anyone want to do that? I did find it odd that they didn't clarify that he cycled there however, which has left him open to criticism.

Or more realistically, having a handful of people walking around thir own estate is much safer than hundreds driving to a nearby beauty spot and mixing.
I agree, but my comment was related that driving a car doesn’t spread the virus but mixing does. So driving a car over a relatively low mileage to a place with extremely low numbers of people to end up getting a fine, where as staying local (whatever local means) where there are more people seems odd to me.

And potentially having a higher number people mixing.

So what’s the issue in terms of mixing if he drove 4 miles to a more open space and then rode his bike?

The issue is that his government specifically banned it. I guess you are in favour of people driving to the lake district from Kent then, if they stay in distanced when they get there? As its the same thing just a longer isolated journey?

I said a short distance, so no, not from Kent to the Lake District. Have the government banned driving?
