I see tonight Shrewsbury are admitting 2,000 fans in a ground whose capacity is 9875 ours holds 12,400 and we are only admitting 1,000. Are the club not able to do the same as we have 2525 more seats.
this I think has been down to poor planning by those involved with the organising of seats for Saturdays game. Also Shrewsbury was mint a first come first served basis.
Shame on the club. I hope NMW has answers tomorrow evening😡

Shrewsbury have already done their test event. We haven`t until Saturday.
Shame on you for not knowing that. :D

every club has to have a 1000 attendance test game before going on to bigger attendances.

I believe Shrewsbury held a test event early in the season, whereas we haven't done so. That would be the reason.
No we didn’t because NMW said we weren’t ready eyebSaloo had the same anout of time to prepare as we have but we weren’t ready to even try

Pretty sure this could have gone in the "Getting the crowds back in" thread.

that was supposed to happen but then lockdown 2 arrived.
Other clubs managed when we could have at the same time but all we got from NMW was that we weren’t ready but all the other clubs managed, its pretty poor from the club.

We had a test event planned, then the government changed policy after a spike in numbers and we couldn’t have the test game, thus we now have to have our test game Saturday before having 2000 at the following league game. Not really the clubs fault, just bad luck.

i think it was down to timing of home games.

We also have the disadvantage of having to get approval from the stadium management company before going ahead with any plans. That's why there was a delay earlier in the season which, in addition to the change in Government policy, meant we missed the chance to have a test event.

Not everything is the clubs fault, often it is just the circumstances we find ourselves in.

Yes we could rye test game was a week before the 2nd spike but NMW said we weren’t ready whereas all the other clubs were.

I didn’t take into account Firoka but you would have timhought they would have been aboard, but it does to show how much OGB us screwing us all the time

Come on, there are some people on here who think everything is the club's fault.

My understanding was that they were supportive, but having to go through a third party delayed things.

The stadium issue has been well documented, but no one could have predicted the way football would go in 2020. So there's a lot to blame FK for, but this is probably one which has just come down to unfortunate timings.
