Gorrin tried to flick the back of Gladwins heals soon after he entered our half, if it was 2-1 at the time them I’m Pretty sure Gorrin would have certainly taken one for the team and floored him with just a yellow card punishment however with a 2 goal cushion and the game already will into injury time I thought Gorrin did the right thing with a half hearted attempt to put Gladwin on the floor.
you can remember this when Gorrin reaches the limit on yellow cards and gets suspended in what is already becoming a threadbare team.

I think Sykes set the situation up by trying to get the ball ahead oif their player and missing out, when he would have been better being more cautious going for the 2nd ball or harassing their player when he got the ball considering the match situation. I applaud Sykes desire to win the ball though, just needed a bit more nous about the game situation and he is still my motm. Also, Elliott Moore sold himself as well so blame can be apportioned all around tbh.

A vital win last night and didn’t matter how we achieved it. Fancy us against the scum now who seem very low on confidence and players, only named 6 subs last night.

I read somewhere on here that somebody was dreading Saturday.
We have won 2 of our last 4 games and they have lost their last 4.
We need to start strongly.

Just have to stop conceding an average of two goals each game. There is a lot of potential in the squad.

Don’t even want them to score and keep that record going.

Didn't watch the game so only going from the listening to Rad Ox, the extended highlights and the "Moments you missed".

Not sure how anyone can blame Eastwood for either goal. First one was a gimme 6 yards out and the second came from a central position where Eastwood couldn't close the angles, and it went bottom corner. Keepers are only saving that 1/10 times so no blame on Eastwood.

The defence looked really nervous in the opening 30 minutes or so, but did settle and didn't let Atkinson going off affect them. Still work to be done, but not quite the shambles many feared.

Marcus McGuane looked much more like a player that will make a difference at this level. I'm still not convinced that wide left is his position and would love to see him more centrally like Baptiste last season. But hopefully a little run and more confidence will help him show what the likes of Arsenal and Barcelona once saw.

Sam Long once again came on and did a job for this team. I'm amazed at how often he is singled out for criticism but very rarely gets the credit when it is deserved. Defensively sound and scored from a set piece when we really needed a goal. Scoring from cb's has been poor, last season, Dickie, Moore and Mous gave us only 3 goals. Longy will score more than that this season if he continues to get game.

Dan Agyei looks like an almost player. He has done well in the last few games on the left without ever really making the position his own. I know he was blatantly fouled against Peterborough, but he either needs to be strong enough to throw the defender off, or smart enough to go down. Last night, I don't have an issue with him letting the ball run on to his stronger foot, but once he's done that he either needs to lift the ball into the roof of the net, or take another touch knowing that the defender will have already committed himself. Like McGuane, there is definitely a good player there, but we need to see him really make an impression in this league.

Mide Shodipo (not Paddy please @bazzer9461 !) showed a good touch and the confidence the team has been missing last night. Very early days, but if he can replicate that then we've got ourselves a very decent player who fell under the radar last week.

Karl Robinson has been open to criticism, but I felt that, given only one day on the training pitch after Peterborough, we adjusted well last night. We looked to press MK Dons early on, and whilst it was working, it also exposed huge gaps behind Clare in particular. He adapted and had us pressing more through midfield and looked to keep a more disciplined backline. From the 30th to the 90th minute, we pretty much contained MK Dons and I can't think of a time when they got behind us. Yes we let the guy walk through the team in the last minute, but a different scoreline or different circumstances and 3 players bring him down and stop the danger.

All in all, lots more positives than negatives and a few little tweaks to hopefully see the very best from this squad of players. Grab a cheeky 5 nil win Saturday and then we can start working our way up to the right end of the table.

Positive Bus is out, all aboard!!!

I do!

Seriously, you're a professional footballer playing at the third tier level. You need to be able to side-foot a ball into an open goal from 15 yards out - even with your weaker foot!

It's worrying to me is that he didn't even try to hit the ball first time. If he had, and he'd shanked it, then he would have looked like a donkey - but in doing what he did, he looked like a striker who doesn't have confidence in his own abilities, and didn't want to risk looking stupid. KR and his team need to get into Agyei's head and get him believing, otherwise for all his physical talents, I don't think he'll make it as a striker at League One level.

There was time not to snatch at it, and potentially shank it. That is why I didn't have the issue with him letting the ball run across him. However, once he has done that, he needs to finish. Lift the ball into the roof of the net and no one stops it. Dink it over the defender and it's a goal. Take another touch, the defender is already committed to sliding in, and he rolls it in to an open goal. A little composure and he scores, regardless of which foot he looks to use.

Well we scored 3 goals and MK Dons scored 2 goals. If two teams score no goals or the same goals it is a draw. If one team scores more goals than the other they win. The team scoring less goals loses.
Errr no, not sure I quite follow. Could you spell it out a bit more clearly?
