Covid 19 - The New Norm. Likes and Dislikes

Let’s get this right , where have the last three world virus come from ? HK Yellow educate China with the ‘wet markets” that would be great start , for a more balanced view.
Which last 3 virus's?

I know China has a huge population but it’s still impressive that it can put someone on an obscure English league one forum to spread propaganda. Crewe’s one must make up a quarter of the posters on theirs.

Really? Who is that?

If you'd seen all the spam messages I had to remove this morning that had appeared overnight, you wouldn't be making jokes like that ? I think the powers read your comment and went for it...

Hehe, mind it probably makes more sense than some of the posts on here.
Looking forward to your input on Saturday afternoon HK Yellow . The game kicks off at 3pm ( which back in the day , the normal time for the live footie games, before TV Had it’s way)
OUFC are playing Peterborough United , which is A city in the East Of England.
Oxford is In South East England , but back in the day it was interesting Classed as South Midland and we watched the news from Birmingham then , as you can see from Google that is not very close to Oxfordshire. Anyway you know all this being A Loyal Yellow . UTM ?

More time with the family, including when the kids were distance learning. I work from home anyway and the missus is part home, part office. Watched lots of films, ate together more often, taught the kids how to play poker and more. Also did loads around the house.

Dislikes

My dad was very ill during start of COVID but eventually pulled through. The borders being down made it clear just how far away I am.
Also not seeing friends and family (rather, not necessarily missing the travel but missing the opportunity to do so, if that makes sense).
Completely ballsed up cricket this season for me, this was supposed to be a big year with lots of international travel in the calendar and all of that was crossed out of the calendar quickly.
Seeing my friends in the arts and elsewhere suffer.
Having a month panic where work for both me and the missus took a downturn. We are part owners of a home care company and having your customers being killed/at risk isn't really a good business plan. Back to normal now though, touch wood.
Football is not the same behind closed doors, but I weirdly don't / didn't miss it as much as I would have thought.

Nonetheless, onward and upward!

Another Question. We were discussing this but also relates to my job.

How have your finances and spending changed?

For us here in Asia, (although could apply to people around the world) we would generally have 2 holidays a year, one regional within Asia and one long haul. Have you saved the money or spent the money on other things?

For football, even a season ticket and just attending home games can set you back 400-1000GBP per adult. Again, saved or spent on something else?

Have your shopping habits changed?

Have you driven less or more under Covid 19?
