NEW MANAGER: {enter next candidate here}

I’ve just read Tigers manager update again and, all joking apart, I’m pretty convinced it’s going to be Karl Robinson. Reading it with him in mind and it all makes sense. I reckon they would have met on Sunday. Robinson is concerned with his future and still lives close by so it suits him. It also fits in with the statement about us being serious about going up a league in as much as he’d be coming from a team that’s in and around the play-off places. Charlton are probably hanging on to him while the take-over gets completed and/or they find a replacement. If I was a betting man my money would be on him

What wow factor does Karl Robinson have, he is the manager of the only club we have beaten in the last 2 and a bit months, sacked by the mighty MK Dons and not wanted by Charlton is not exactly wow, more ow.
Fair point but I personally think he would get us safe this season and that would be a wow in itself! Depends what Tiger means by wow of course but it does worry me. Kluivert rocks up and he’ll be gone in the summer as he wont fancy going to the likes of Crawley and Stevenage..

Errrrm, actually you did compare the two (I assume you meant TVR rather than Thames Valley Police?), it's just below in case you forgot.

Becasue what we need at the next home game is fans venting their frustration...

Lucky we didn’t adopt your attitude when Thames valley royals was on the cards.
If there is no manager by the weekend, there certainly could be a reason to protest. Look at the passion of West Ham’s fans

As for the rest of your post, you have just made up a load of stuff that you have guessed that I might believe and lumped 'no doubt' in front of it??

Simply drawing conclusions from your own words, as you did from mine, when you refer to a mass demonstration.
Actually I think we are every bit bad enough to go down and have said so. I happen to think we will be saved by how poor the teams around us are but that's by no means certain. I also think DE arrived at this club a businessman looking to make a profit while enjoying being a chairman. He is a venture capitalist, why is anyone in the least be surprised when he sells out to highest bidder?
Because slippery, bless him, said he would only sell if it was in the best interest of the club.

I have never once shouted down anyone who criticised him, I'm just a little more pragmatic so was not utterly surprised by it. I also never at any point defended the length of this appointment. For what it's worth I think it has been allowed to drag on far too long and it has unsettled the team (and clearly the fans).
What I did say was that a mass demonstration at the next game would unsettle the players even more and be counter productive.
You implied I said mass demonstration would be a good idea.
I'm just off to get my pipe and slippers now but to summarise, most of what you said in your post was pretty much wide of the mark. Dear dear.

At the end of the day I'm so fed up with this whole saga, with another three points thrown away on Saturday as the chuckle brothers will still be in charge.

I too am bored with constantly looking at my phone and oddschecker but I will keep doing it just like people will keep on moaning no matter what for a lot longer. I think we will struggle on Saturday but the glass half full positive way I am just keeps me thinking maybe our luck will change and we might win. If we do there will be a few glasses fully empty ?

Glen Hoddle would certainly work as someone with experience and capable of bringing young players through.

I see even the QPR manager is linked with us. I can’t imagine where these rumours are emanating from

Whoever it is (and assuming no points again at the weekend) will anyone have enough time to get the ship back on course? If enough teams below us manage a draw at least every week and we continue to lose, this could still all end badly. Just don't get the continuous delay (unless the guy is currently employed elsewhere).

You are right, yep our luck might change, and we might win, why people are moaning/concerned so much is beyond me, what do they have to moan about, after all we'll have faz and allen in charge. Err, hang on a minute....

Ok..........Frank Lampard.......whos to say that things have not changed?

I understand that Jamie Carragher is concerned about his future. Spittingly decent chap!...Sorry meant to say spiffing.

I pointed out I thought we would struggle on Saturday and that is mainly down to who is in charge. Also highlighting part of a sentence but omitting the last 4 vital words changes the meaning a lot. Yes there is plenty to moan about at present but I suspect you and a few others will carry on regardless . As this post is on the manager thread Steven Gerrard is now 10/1 with bet victor. Lease explain who the alien in charge is because last time I checked Thailand was part of planet earth. While I am on the subject I am not by a long way convinced by the early part of our new owners reign although but time will tell although no matter what certain people won’t like or agree with it.
