I don’t care who we get in anymore, just want it to be concluded now. My wow signing would be.... ‘Wow! Finally! We have a new manager and life can move on!’

I can only conclude that the point of that post was to make the world a slightly worse place.

Well done.

Getting back to serious matters for a second.
How about someone who made his debut against oxford in that famous league cup tie?

No you cannot be serious he will go to one of the relegated premier clubs or championship club who just missed out on promotion

At this rate Bazzer you will be first poster on page 200 when we are in pre season and still looking

Almost certainly correct. Bazzer for Manager anybody? Winning the '100th Page Initiator Competition' means that he must have the kind of luck required to get us back to winning ways.

Thanks for the thought stEbbes but unless we have a striker that can shoot from 10, 20, 30 or even 40 yards sorry but I wouldn’t be interested ?

But getting back to being serious can any of the mods tell us whether this is a record for the hunt for a new manager or even a player?

But weTang you said Kluivert would be the wow factor.....really?
Ah, let me rephrase! I think that would be the name our Thai owner would look at as the "wow factor". One of the greatest strikers who was recently assistant for the Netherlands and Director of Football for PSG. It's all very showman, and certainly worth a punt at 16/1 as I reckon he was at least on the shortlist.

Certainly not the wow factor for us though, it would worry me greatly in our current predicament. We need a, dare I say it, Wilder esque manager to get these boys doing the basics right and keep us in League 1. A manager who knows the English lower leagues and the right players to recruit in the summer with our scouting team, especially as there might be a lot of recruiting to do at this rate...

If you need cheering up after all theses pages of worries, never forget the present that Tiger's friend, Lady Sasima, gave to Reading

If he could get her to give us something like that it would be even better than Bazzer for entertainment.

"The Glory of Reading" - it's the only thing getting them through their bleak days now.

Dear, dear, where did I say anything about doing what West Ham fans did, I simply mentioned their passion.
Again, where did I compare tvp to this situation? This situation could become a danger to our club survival, if it goes on.
No doubt you equally think we are too good to go down, and to criticise slippery is a hanging offence. A situation like this cannot go on ad infinitum, without being challenged, regardless of what the pipe and slipper brigade think.

Errrrm, actually you did compare the two (I assume you meant TVR rather than Thames Valley Police?), it's just below in case you forgot.

Becasue what we need at the next home game is fans venting their frustration...

You replied:
Lucky we didn’t adopt your attitude when Thames valley royals was on the cards.
If there is no manager by the weekend, there certainly could be a reason to protest. Look at the passion of West Ham’s fans

As for the rest of your post, you have just made up a load of stuff that you have guessed that I might believe and lumped 'no doubt' in front of it??
Actually I think we are every bit bad enough to go down and have said so. I happen to think we will be saved by how poor the teams around us are but that's by no means certain. I also think DE arrived at this club a businessman looking to make a profit while enjoying being a chairman. He is a venture capitalist, why is anyone in the least be surprised when he sells out to highest bidder? I have never once shouted down anyone who criticised him, I'm just a little more pragmatic so was not utterly surprised by it. I also never at any point defended the length of this appointment. For what it's worth I think it has been allowed to drag on far too long and it has unsettled the team (and clearly the fans).
What I did say was that a mass demonstration at the next game would unsettle the players even more and be counter productive.

I'm just off to get my pipe and slippers now but to summarise, most of what you said in your post was pretty much wide of the mark. Dear dear.
