5 mins fans forum is back on Radio Oxford- Tiger is taking questions in the slot on Adam Ball show, after 5.30pm ( probably after news/ weather etc) this evening ?

Not much on to be honest.

Club can survive without fans in but encouraged to support where possible financially. Not requesting refunds, buying merchandise, watch on iFollow etc.

Karl has budget for players to come in. One player (defender?) and club bring spoken to, but a few options.

Some players (youth?) were due to go out on loan to conference sides but may need to reconsider with the stopping of fans hitting their budgets.

Stadium future still ongoing but lockdown slowed everything down.

Let's see a more professional online merchandise operation along with plenty of choice then..

I am sure we will all buy as much as possible to support the club!

Yes, because despite what other people keep saying, there is a form of obligation that says we are entitled to one.
Is there really?
I am.not sure I have read that before. Presumably I return for a large hike in the rent?

Yes, because despite what other people keep saying, there is a form of obligation that says we are entitled to one.
And whose obligation is it and what form does it take? All the Licence Agreement says on the matter is:
"On the completion of any Additional Development which provides additional facilities made available to the Club then the parties shall use all reasonable endeavours to agree an additional Licence Fee to become payable from the start of use of the Additional Development by the Club and in the absence of agreement the Additional Development shall not be used by the Club and no additional Licence Fee shall be payable"
"Additional Development"
is defined as "the construction of a west stand at the Stadium or such other building accommodation as the Licensor [Firoka] shall in its absolute discretion decide to undertake"

And this is where the issues lay. People are also assuming that the rental / license agreement and the terms of sale of the football club are one and the same. They are not.

It is no coincidence that suddenly the Chairman has said we had plans for some form of fourth stand (my money would be on a semi-permanent / temporary one similar to Gillingham) if we had won at Wembley, after years and years and years of not even being allowed to pay for one off our own back when we have tried to. Which we have, repeatedly. We have tried to get a temporary stand put in god knows how many times, and it’s never gotten further than the sound of a phone being slammed.

It’s almost like there’s something, somewhere, that means Championship football unlocks something. Whatever exactly that means and who it ends up costing the most is a separate matter.

It's possible that the Club has come to an agreement with Firoka for it to build a west stand and that the Club are entitled to one and Firoka is obliged to build it. Perhaps the Club should be asked to comment.

The parties shall use all reasonable endeavours ..... mmmmm possibly what Firoz considers "reasonable" may differ from what a normal person considers reasonable.

I'd suspect the Uncle K, the guardian of the club, would want the 'additional License Fee' agreed before he even though about putting one brick on top of another. And I suspect even more than he wouldn't agree to anything reasonable at all, because he'd rather we buggered off so he can knock the whole lot down and make more money by building houses.

How long is a piece of string ?

I would add that the sale of the football club by Firoka and the Licence Agreement were completed on the same day, the latter being signed by FK for both parties, Firoka being both Landlord and Tenant. i.e the ongoing terms for the Club using the stadium was a fait accompli. It is beyond likely that the terms of the sale of the club would have been in any respect in contradiction of the terms of the Licence Agreement. The only thing that Championship football unlocks is an increase in the annual licence fee as set out in the Agreement.

Okay mate! You keep banging this drum every time I bring it up, even when the Chairman says a fourth stand was magically about to appear as soon as we were (theoretically) promoted. Crack on. I only used to work at the place.

I’m never mentioning it again.
