Transfer News Transfer window 2020/21

Don’t you ever give it a rest your getting increasingly boring now
He maybe, but he does have a point though, non one else seems to be struggling with injuries and is they are they have adequate cover. If Taylor is out injured then hopefully Agyei will step up if not Osei Yaw

This seems to happen year on year. No team should be down to the bare bones, or struggling to fill a position after 1 league game. Clearly we don't yet have strength in depth.

The problem with kip is tho that we could sign messi Ronaldo Salah and Marcelo and he’d still moan the window was crap remember tho kip the window hasn’t shut yet KR knows what he needs but it doesn’t help with the salary cap and squad cap in place now

The injury may actually help us get a better quality loan player in. Happy for Long to cover the position for a few games to get the best option in.

Watford had something like 17 players out last weekend. Other teams will have injury problems. Unfortunately ours have generally hit us in areas where we are still building or multiple hits in the same areas which have been exacerbated by the stupidly rushed changes in the salary cap/senior squad size. I'm sure some other teams will have similar problems.

although used in defence as a sub V Watford, young Lofthouse, although not an out and out striker, was a prolific goalscorer for the U18s and, at times, for older age group dev squads ( U23s , U21s) .... young Goodrham is an absolute natural goalscorer too despite his (young) age.... handy -ish back up as impact attacking/ goalscoring options in the short term at the very least. Both Lofthouse and Goodrham are genuine prospects coming through the OUFC ranks IMO

If fully fit, the obvious youth player for the central forward role is Spavi Spasov. It will be Osei I reckon who gets the nod if Taylor can't start.

So we look like going into the weekend super short again.. No left back, Taylor struggling, Winnall not fit. Still, we did have a brilliant window.
Think of Oxford under Robinson as a bit like a decent diesel car. We take our time to get going but once we do, we start ticking along rather nicely! I truly believe this season we will be fine.

if fit being the keywords.... a very decent player is Spasov, but so far either has been unlucky with injuries, or is (already) a player who is, unfortunately, injury-prone
