Talked about in the transfer thread.
I know. But it’s not like we have signings left, right and centre (forward), is it?

We got him after 5 games had been played!Until we got him on loan last season we were getting relegated imho. Made a huge difference and is a big signing.
He can't be more than 90 mins from Portsmouth. I think recruitment will still depend on how much League 1 owners are prepared to dig in their own pockets to fund players. Matty Taylor won't be here next season, although there is nothing more I would want, whether we are in the championship or trying for the play offs again . After what he has achieved this season, clubs with a profile like Pompey, Peterborough and Sunderland have the buying power we can only dream of, and will buy him, offering a much higher wage which is the language Taylor speaks. We were never really in the market for a serious offer on Cadden, offering £250,000, when his club wanted £1million. With our reliance on a cycle of bring in loans, sell best players and then rebuild at the end of the season, unless we get to a point where a board member is prepared to seriously invest in the club, what would a season in the championship look like?
He’s a miserable f***ckerWell, that pissed on your bonfire ?

....clubs with a higher profile than us....Are you a journalist? Picking and chosing what people say, as my next line was, there is nothing more than I would want!
Rather pisses on your point, probably your shoes and trousers as well.

Your point, despite wanting it to happen, was that it definitely wasn't going to happen.
As much as you like Matty Taylor, you seem to enjoy much more the prospect of this club failing miserably, so you may proudly say that you predicted it all.

Bit of a reach but might include Liam Kelly if he was coming backKR says "some" players live abroad, who are they apart from Gorrin?
Rude!!!A lot of the players live in Bicester don’t they? I consider that foreign lands from my area of South West Oxfordshire.

Yes. Could be a consideration!!Bit of a reach but might include Liam Kelly if he was coming back
Im not so sure. To me, he still has a tendency to sometimes pass the ball without actually looking to see who is there, which has resulted in some lucky escapes. Also still a bit lightweight.Apologies if it’s been said before but I think Sykes is going to be a real key man for us if we are to go one better this season. Love his attitude and seems to have an impact when involved no matter how many times he’s been left out. Could be his big year!
