Certainly Wycombe’s absence means the division will naturally become stronger, but losing play-off finallists Oxford, who cheekily pleaded with season ticket holders not to claim refunds even though the club ultimately voted to not to play their final home fixtures, are not showing much confidence in their own future.

Did OUFC ask us not to claim refunds???.....I must have missed that.
I thought we wanted the final home games?
Let them think what they want....they may have a shock

Whether we’d played our games or not we’d not have been able to use season tickets anyway

And didn’t we vote to continue? Robinson certainly seemed to suggest we did

They need to get a better grasp of numbers.

It ultimately didn't matter a toss which way Oxford voted.

If they'd had a better grasp of numbers they might have finished in a play off position.

Imbeciles.

#Operation numeracy.

My assumption is that we voiced our opinion as 'finish the season on the pitch', and voted to continue in the earlier votes, but perhaps we voted to conclude the season and move straight to playoffs in the final vote, perhaps even as a nod to the large number of clubs that did not want to continue in order to solve issues that did not involve them.

We voted to end the season by PPG but playing the play offs still.

I think that’s understandable because what was the point for majority of clubs risking themselves and paying out for testing just to play games when they had nothing to play for.

should there of potentially been a play off for relegation? Potentially yes but it would of been something completely new.

PPG was used over 2/3 of games for the season so the fairest way.

It did us no favours as realistically Wycombe weren’t going to make the play offs due to form, who they still had to play, our run of form we could easily suggest we could of got 2nd but it is what it is.

time for Peterborough and Tranmere to move on.

And Peterborough didn’t even offer refunds

very strange article really
And they put their players and staff on Furlough not long after the furlough scheme was introduced.
Barry Fry and Darragh MacAnthony can jog on pair of knobs that they are.

yet what would they have said if they had got their way and have an 8 team play off tournament? Peterborough are a joke

Is this the same gutter press that said the COVID-19 could have cost the club with their 25 million pound strike Ivan Toney

And from that article - "Certainly Wycombe’s absence means the division will naturally become stronger, but losing play-off finallists Oxford, who cheekily pleaded with season ticket holders not to claim refunds even though the club ultimately voted to not to play their final home fixtures, are not showing much confidence in their own future."
A local journalist talking absolute nonsense unless I'm mistaken. I could have sworn we voted to carry on and play the remaining games. Let's not forget the form we were on and that we were in with a decent chance of automatic promotion.
